You said 'emotional' duty of care. I never did. I have no idea what that even is.

FWIW:
http://www.lawhandbook.sa.gov.au/ch16s02s02.php

'The employee must exercise reasonable care and skill in the performance of the work; in other words, the employee has the duty to be efficient and to avoid negligent in doing the work.
The employee must do the job honestly and faithfully'.

So, I ask again, are you trying to convince us all that Tippett and Blucher did not breach their duty of care to the AFC?

If that's the case, can you please explain how he hindered their physical? spiritual? cognitive? or social?

"Exercising reasonable care and skill in the performance of the work" so, can you point me towards this area? training, game day, gym sessions, player meetings - because that his work place right?

Because the only place I can see him causing any strain is with there emotional duty of care. Did he cause any need to question his duty of care towards the players or club outside of this text message? I doubt it. Therefore, I'm talking about there emotional duty of care or well-being as this text he sent in must have causes a truck load of damage.

His performances in no way have caused any reason to question is duty of care.

Do you mean smells like bullshit?

The fact you're making a comparison between someone slagging off your sister and Kurt Tippett who you wouldn't even know.

Still doesn't change the facts - clubs don't own the player and he never asked to be drafted by Adelaide

Nothing to do with getting delisted, it has everything to do with his worth, value and demand

Yeah, it must be a flawed argument because I'm happy to allow AFL players to have a civil right, the same as every other employee in this country.
So you have no opinions on any public fugue because you have no right? Think your gripes with Neil Craig might beg to differ.

AIOF taking one for the team

So now you've lost the argument, you're taking pot shots.

You can say what you like and the mob like followers can act however they like - won't change the fact he can act however he likes. You lot are pissed off for no reason.

Time to get over it and move on.

claiming victory after you opponent has grown bored with you and moved on :thumbsu:

by shifting your position every time your poorly thought out personal opinions are shown to be erroneous you basically remove yourself from any serious discussion. youre like the 5 year old who everyone lets win at monopoly because theyre sick of the pouting and screaming.

As soon as he left the club, no.

Whist he was a custodian of the club - yes.

Kurt Tippett has gone. Time to move on. What's done is done.

ha ha ha yeah ok.

Mob like mentality - make enough noise and you have to be right. You know, If you yell this loud enough, you still won't be right.

Thought this would be the reply. How about stenglein or Johnson. There is a good way to leave a club and a bad way. Tippett has clearly done things the wrong way or he would be at Sydney. As for how the players feel have you seen some of the stuff going on twitter? Or how about some of the less than glowing interview the guys did after his desicion?

Now come on.

Can we please compare apples with apples.

Lets look at the entire outcome of the trade and see if we were willing to say the same has Stengline or Johnson gone through to the Pre season draft. The outcome and time helps change opinions.

I imagine people would see both those trades very differently had we not received fair compensation.,

for starters what youre describing wouldnt normally be referred to as mob like mentality, but leaving that aside it sounds a lot like what youre doing. just curious how much alcohol have you had in the last few hours?

And you don think Tippett had anything to do with us not receiving fair compensation?

So while you still didnt know him personally right?

sometimes i think you must be trolling because the holes in your logic are big enough to drive a tippett contract through, but a troll wouldnt get so upset about being as wrong as you are

In the approximate words of a post I read this time yesterday.......take it outside, its becoming tedious and boring.

Its quite true, unfortunately, that clubs make concessions for the best players that would never be tolerated by second or third tier players.
This secret contract for Kurt is just one example of that. Happens in all sports.
If the Crows were to redraft him of course the other players would put up with it. They would have no choice.
But maybe they lose motivation and dont train or try as hard, maybe they'll want to seek a new club or retire at the end of their contracts.
Maybe this has already happened?
But there comes a time where a line in the sand has to be drawn - such prima donnas are like cancers and can have a negative effect on team morale if they stay.
eg. Carey, Fev, Cousins ...
From the outside we have no way of knowing exactly where this tipping point is for Kurt ...
But really, David Noble has already said the Crows will not redraft him.
So if we are to believe him, and I have no reason not to, then that point has already been passed. And it just got even messier since he first said it ...
This is a far cry from Ryan O'Keefe - he was a star who wanted to leave but ended up staying at the Swans. The whole thing was very civilised.
What we have here is one of the ugliest divorces imaginable....

Tippo is marked gone from Crows forever, never to return ...

And you don think Tippett had anything to do with us not receiving fair compensation?

No I don't.

His manager, his father, Crows and Swans do.

Tippett would have had **** all to do with it. He would have just said - do the deal.

******* oath it is.

Imagine if Jimmy Toumpas came out and said I will retire if anyone but the Crows pick me up. What would happen?

Unrelated to KT, but I have family who are close to the Toumpas (es?) and they asked me for advice on what to get Jimmy as a 'going away' gift..... I suggested a return flight to Adelaide dated September 2014 :p
