In the Media & Miscellaneous thread, I’ve posted a couple of times with highlights from recent player Q&A events hosted by Clark — first time, Voss and Reid; second was Ryan and Jackson. These are informal on-the-side events organised by someone who uses them to auction off signed merch, match-worn shoes, etc. They’re pretty laid back and fun, a bit like the podcast with just a teensy bit more swearing, and they take plenty of questions from the audience.
The next one is being held next Wednesday night, 6 August, and features Sonny and Dudley. Just seconds after buying 3 tickets, I realised we have a clash and can’t go, so I’m going to have to sell them.
Given that this is the ever-entertaining Sonny just after his retirement announcement, I thought there might be some interest from these parts. The event is at City Beer Hall, CNR of Hay and Milligan in Perth, from 6:30–9:30. These are General Admission tickets that cost me $55 each, though I’ll take nearest offer.
