Hopefully he learns a valuable lesson. He like many others like to play on the edge, and sometimes may cop it more than they deserve. I think a player like Sicily fits in that category. But you can’t consistently do these sorts of things on the field and expect to get away with it. Not only did he let himself down, but the rest of the team, especially considering it’s a preliminary final. He should but won’t learn from it.

No reason for this to be bannable when the Bont one wasn't. Forcible face contact on a grounded player = misconduct for sure, but 2x misconduct doesn't equal a suspension.
Whereas a finger in an eye resulting in medical evidence is definitely a suspension, and lucky to only be 1.

Really no sympathy for him. If you play 'on the edge' and take 'on the edge' to mean try take cheap shots at opposition players, you're gonna go sooner rather than later.

Is this the one that deserves a ban? Not sure at the moment. Does that mean he hasn't brought it on himself? Of course not. Push the boundaries, don't be surprised when it backfires.
