The thing with Toby at the moment is just about every play he's involved in, he's looking for some kind of niggle with opposition players. This only draws attention to himself as he has a history. He copped a $7000 fine, obviously didn't pay any attention to it, so they have no option but to give him a game. He's a good enough player, he doesn't need this crap, just play football.

Except they (opposition players) target him because they know the umpires have itchy trigger fingers when it comes to blowing frees against him.

How exactly are GWS leeching the AFL? The AFL is openly supporting them or has supported them as they are an investment initially then hopefully garner enough support to stand alone. Making it to a fourth finals series in a row certainly isn’t easy, you don’t just dump money into a club and say ‘win flags’. Gold Coast the polar opposite. The Giants have built this themselves. They’ve definitely hardened up this year.

It's not as straightforward this week. Last week I absolutely agree with you...the AFL intervened to get him off. It was in the AFL's interests to have him play.

The AFL imo would view a Tigers v Pies GF a lot more this year than getting GWS into the GF. Hence I'm not sure they'll get their hands dirty this week.

Greene should’ve been suspended for the Bontempelli incident, he wasn’t. Therefore the Neale incident would have to have been objectively worse. It wasn’t, yet he gets suspended?

Shouldn't have been so lenient on him a few times now. The fact he goes in and makes intentional contact to the face on bont should of got him a week. It doesn't matter for the result of something like that. It should of been dealt more harshly. Then he does it again to Neale after being given a fine and warning so of course they couldn't fine him again because that obviously didn't work last time.
