Well Greene has copped a one match ban for his actions last night. I really question the guys cerebral capacity. Got away with it in the first final, now does it again and is missing a PF at the MCG. GWS really need Greene free for this one. It’ll now make it really hard for them.
stupid for sure.
i doubt they get him to change his stripes though. he had Brisbane off their game in defence and they put 4 straight on.

But he won’t be there to rattle Collingwood. If De Goey isn’t playing and now Greene is out it basically brings it back to even for the Giants. Just dumb. You’d think he would just keep his hands away from people’s faces after the week before.

I have a feeling the two teams who’ve had no break and have a star missing each on suspension can get the job done.
I think they can as well, but all I do know is that their opposition will be watching very closely to determine how to beat them given Hawkins and Greene are out. Both incredibly critical players.

Dopy Greene, the AFL's dumbest footballer

When the AFL handed him a $7,500 fine last week for not-eye-gouging Bontempelli, you'd think he would count his blessings, heed the warning and pull his head in. He must live in his own bubble in west Sydney. Just a complete lack of self-awareness.

Dumb as dogshiit. He might've cost his team a flag. And for what? A bit of mindless niggle...
I'm surprised his coaches haven't clued him in on how to behave and avoid the needless suspensions

They are probably trying to let him play with freedom, as that’s why he is so good. You don’t really need to coach these guys too much. I think GWS are really going for this unsociable mentality. You’d think Greene would be sharp enough to keep his hands to himself until the GF at least.

He didn't get away with it last week. He got heavily fined which is the punishment the AFL deemed appropriate for that act. On the evidence we've seen, this week's incident is probably less serious.

I'm not sure how anyone can make the argument that a suspension this week is justified when last week's wasn't.

Exactly

Classic AFL

Maybe that’s what they’ll argue.

When I say ‘got away with it’ I mean, wasn’t rubbed out.

I’ll give you an analogy.

GWS is like the teacher’s son, he is always thought of getting special treatment but in reality the teacher’s insecurity of the thoughts around him make him over-punish and ensure he is not seen to be giving a leg up.

He still loves his son and wants him to do well but if it’s a close situation he always gives a whack.

Western Bulldogs are like the delinquent son on a millionaire.

They have siblings like Hawthorn and Richmond that are smart and well put together but the Dogs are inclined to want the easy way out and be the trust fund baby instead.

The father loves the son and continues to find jobs and use contacts to help out but ultimately there is only so much you can do for a perennial loser.

And that is why you guys are the real love child and we just the fake love child.
Hah

AFL wanted doggies out and we had to do our own funding to defend ourselves

Giants just got top picks and whatever funding they wanted.

AFL against giants? Afl was downgrading Greene's dirty tactics for last week so he didn't get suspended.

GWS posters attitudes are similar to the club's. Spoilt brats

I hope he plays so that Maynard can towel him up in another final. My only concern would be if Maynard retaliates and get suspended. Then again, Greene is probably too smart to do the same thing to Maynard. He tends to pick out the guys who don’t have ‘mongrel’ in then.

Correct add that to a defenceless player at the bottom of the pack, that’s what makes him a true coward.

Not sure from an integrity position afl lets last week go through but then suspends this week.
If last week was considered ok, how is this worse?
Christian is suspending him for last weeks incident. He is taking tye AFL out of the equation which was his mistake last week.

Personally I don’t really care. However, I think he should have copped a week after what he did to the Bont. Do grab someone by the hair/head who is defenceless on the ground, lift their head and than bang it into the surface could do so much more damage than something like a sling tackle. And it is totally intentional.

If the Bont was out cold, no doubt he would have copped a few weeks. To think that an action is considered dangerous but on the occasion doesn’t result in too serious injury so is ‘ok’ is completely wrong. That action was totally unnecessary, had nothin to do with the play and could have easily resulted in a serious head injury. He should have been rubbed out for that.

The current action, we’ll its not so blatant and hard to really see what went on so I’d give him the benefit of the doubt.

Im happy for him to toe the line. But when he crosses the line with something as cowardly as he has, he deserves a whack & has lost respect in my eyes. The best at toeing the line never do cowardly s**t like that. Hodge toe’s the line, but doesn’t eye gauge in crowded packs.
Nah Hodge just goes around sniping kids, bumping people into goalposts and elbowing unsuspecting opponents in the throat.

He’s done as much cowardly crap as anyone.

The blatant throw a scrum half would be proud of to win them the game shows you how much they’re looked after.
