Unpopular opinion. I think Toby Greene will play a controversy free, normal game where he gets a few goals, gets a few touches and is a solid contributor to our side- and doesn't try to "assault" anybody.

Geez, I hope not.

I want him and Mummy to claim as many scalps as they can.

I am pretty sure Toby will cop a lengthy whack if he does something stupid in the Grand Final.

The AFL/MRP tend to come down hard on anyone who go HAM/do a mindless act of thuggery in the Granny, so you hope GWS have told Toby to be careful.
It's their first grand final, they won't be thinking about next year. Greene doesn't believe he's doing anything wrong so will continue to jump into the backs of opposition players laying on the ground and play with their faces and Mumford will be looking for Tiger players to run through, considering his actual football ability is close to zero. No doubt they'll do #whateverittakes.

Hopefully Toby is at his creative best where he comes up with some foul play that only he could invent and forces another rule change. Should make for an entertaining Grand Final.

I don't. We are on the big stage, I would hope our players act accordingly.
I also hope they act accordingly.

They should take a leaf out of Cotchin's book.

Ironed out Shiel early in the '17 prelim and helped book his team a spot in a Grand Final.

Have GWS learned anything? Do they believe in 'karma'?

We will find out in five days and I cannot wait to see it.

I'm genuinely looking forward to reactions from posters like you when Mummy takes out one of your star players.

You were all cockahoop when Cotchin ironed out Shiel.

Let's see how you go when the shoe is on the other foot.

I hope Cherfton paid the extra money for waterproof servers. This place will be a river of tears.

Feels like a grand final will be the perfect stage for the sort of player Greene is. I'm sure at some stage we'll see some pushing and shoving and the Giants I'm sure will be out to hurt like they've been all finals. Cotchin's hit on Sheil was big in that prelim. I'm sure its still fresh in many Giants' minds.

Whether or not the rest of the team will show up is the big question. If they do we could be in for a cracker.

More to do with it taking one of their better midfielders that year out of a prelim final.

Won't even enter their minds.
They won't even fear Richmond going the man as they are not that kind of team. They will be more concerned about the impact of the consecutive free kicks they will be giving away to Richmond when they hit in hard and early.

I'm sure Cameron will bring up the last time they played the Tigers in a prelim and how a big hit on Shiel set the tone for the rest of the game...

The thing about Cotchin is he is a wrecking ball (and amazingly skillful, classy) but not a thug. He gets the ball is a hard but fair manner.

If mummy wants to swing itll be good theater but there will be no ref to make sure people are standing five feet away. George, Baker types will try strangle him and Soldo, Nankervis, Astbury, Lynch, Reiwoldt etc. are a fair size/weight in an all in

You are too much of a sook to acknowledge Cotchin won a hard ball in a huge contest in the biggest of games v a powerhouse team - yet your are "looking forward" to fat mummy swinging his arms at peoples heads? seems like a strange way to process the universe around you.

The MRP said Cotchin's direction was towards the ball, not towards his opponent.

"The ball is loose between Cotchin and Shiel. Both players are seeking to win possession and are coming towards each other from right angles," the match review panel said in a statement.
"Cotchin moves down low and braces for contact as Shiel approaches to pick up the ball.
"It was the view of the panel that Cotchin was seeking to win possession as his line of direction was always towards the ball and not his opponent.
"The panel determined that Cotchin was seeking to contest the ball and therefore contact was not unreasonable in the circumstances. No further action was taken."

could always watched norths last gf in black and white if the modern era isnt for you

Like I said, I look forward to your reaction at about 4pm Saturday. By then, you'll already know.

It's already known.

Hard but fair and a champ

an amazing evolution as he was initially touted as a Gary Ablett type offensive player when he was killing the u18s. To get to a defensive monster was probable largely due to the club needing it to get to the premiership

Reckon Mummy is the one to watch. Reckon he will have his sights on Cotchin from the very first bounce.

Token tap work so he can land and head right for Cotchin for a brutal hit to start the game.

Mummy will be out there to hurt people and will cop whatever fine he gets.

Toby to go out kick 3 along with a cheeky 30 touches, win the norm and give a big middle finger to Gil.

Mummy to literally kill someone. Reckon we might see some Brendon Lade and Cale Moreton reenactments.
