I'm not sure what those stats are meant to prove?

Someone said Boyd hasn't shown much when compared to McCartin and then you post stats showing Boyd has done more.

How has he done more? Despite these 'bags' he's kicked he's kicked **** all more goals than Paddy. Paddy has him covered for marks and disposals. Not sure how that is Boyd showing more.

Half a disposal and one mark a game more. I put more emphasis on the fact that Boyd has been a better goalkicker so far from a key forward.

Either way, he certainly hasn't done less. Especially when considering he's had games where he's kicked 4 and 3 goals and multiple games where he's kicked 2.

But that one monster of a game where McCartin kicked 2 goals certainly puts him ahead.

Most of these arguments are pointless anyway. Sure Boyd may have a better defender on him then Paddy would but if he had Nick Riewoldt and Josh Bruce alongside him I guarantee Boyd would not get the best defender either.

Let's just hope both turn out to be better then average players and can give both our teams hope for the future.

Obviously affects his forward craft though considering he still barely has the tank to run out a game purely as a forward yet has been doing 40% of the game in the ruck. If McCartin was even capable of playing ruck doing so would lower his output forward even lower than it is.

Miles ahead after 10? In their debut seasons Boyd averaged more goals and effective disposals

You say 'if McCartin was even capable of playing ruck' like its a bad thing. We drafted him as a forward, he's showing enough that we don't need to throw him in the ruck just so he can get near the ball.
