You're right in saying the Saints need elite talent, but there's absolutely not enough B grade talent at the club right now.

There is room for both, and a requirement to continue to add more of both.

Not sure what youre on about. Gawn, Xerri, TDK are widely considered the best 3 rucks this year.

I think people are generally saying Gawn, Cameron and English. Tdk had a great start then has been poor for a while and Xerri has been poor until the last few weeks. He was clearly hampered with a hamstring for about a month or so. Maybe by the end of the byes things will change but I think currently it's the 3 I mentioned.

TDK is just the next in line.

Ross Lyon was complaining he didnt have enough quality in the midfield to compete with Blues contested inside game but wants to spend 10% of salary cap on one player and he's not a mid. TDK is a good player he is that good B grader like Cerra, Hewett, SOS, Saad and McGovern.. not in the same class as Curnow, Weitering, McKay, Cripps and Walsh...TDK could become an A grader but needs to win an AA jacket first.

TDK’s doing some great work with clearances, tap work is getting better, but he’s relatively ineffectual around the ground.

His next layer is as a marking outlet down the line (per Gawn) not great at doing it yet.

Trying to play like a mid rather than down the line marking option, 60m from the ball.

He’ll only be as good as the mids around him of course.

Don’t know why people keep going on about stocker we paid nothing for him and he has been solid for us always attacks the ball and opponents hard puts his body on the line his been far from terrible for us

Marshal is 30 this year. Him and king up forward will be a pretty good forward line so Il be very happy to land TDK
