It will be straight to the tribunal there is the capacity for them to upgrade on 'potential to cause injury'. You'd think it lands somewhere between the 4-7 range depending on priors, think 5 is about bang on.

Will be more than 4 at least you'd think. How many more may depend on if their is any concussion.
Aristotle Pickett what's funny about this comment.

Jon Ralph writing this morning 4 or more as well in the Herald Sun.

I understand the frustration, but in the "woke" world of AFL he must surely cop 8 weeks?...

Doubt he gets 8 not unless he has a bunch of priors and having not followed Richmond not sure there, it wasn't Big Bad Bally Hall style lol

Most sane people know it's 4+, I mean Curtis got 3 weeks for a tackle for goodness sakes.

There was no concussion or a hint of concussion. Jon Ralph is a clickbait Murdoch tossbag.

They can upgrade it on potential to cause injury anyway, concussion or not there was a high degree of potential to cause injury. It will be referred to the tribunal, that's the safe bet. Then Lynch and Richmond can present a case.

Yeah i feel the Nash hit is the extreme case for the footy incidents. He got 4 although stupid it was still a play on the footy.

Ones like these where the intent is clearly to strike at the head should start just after the footballing suspensions.

Butts lucky he's not coordinated like Barry.

If Tex had swung a haymaker and connected with a Richmond player I'd want him suspended for 6 or more.
Under the grading it would be straight to tribunal. The AFL wants to be big on concussion but they get stuck in the morning spending 40 minutes trying to figure out which is the 'Left Sock'.

It will be 4 weeks because "potential to cause injury" only seems to exist for legal tackles. Should be around 5 to 6 because it was and actual swinging punch motion.

Yeah and Nash I feel was VERY lucky, I love Connor as a player but that was beyond ridiculous that didn't end in the 5-7 range. Now they have cornered themselves for this one, but it's clear as day this will be referred so thats a 4+ trigger with a strike

He has stacks of priors but the AFL kept letting him off. He punched Sam Collins 100m off the ball then defended himself by saying he was pushing off his opponent

The AFL bought it :$
