Some of you need to chill out, be better than geelong supporters.

We dont need to wish injuries on anyone or hope someone evens it up.

Just be content in the fact we win when it really matters.

Also the thread is about Stewart and Prestia

No stoppage? Wasn’t it a free kick? Lol
Please excuse for quoting myself from another thread. but yup a free kick was paid, but not correctly...

Just to correct some people here, commentators might've misled the free kick narrative regarding the Prestia incident.

If you listen to the umpire explaining to Selwood, you can hear him say "down field free", which you can only assume is for the Prestia high.

19.3. PREVENTING A PLAYER TAKING PART IN THE NEXT ACT OF PLAY If a Player intentionally makes Prohibited Contact against an opposition Player who has disposed of the football for the purpose of preventing that Player from taking part in the next act of play, the field Umpire shall award a Free Kick and a Fifty Metre Penalty to that Player.

Just to correct you. As above,

the correct rule and penalty should have applied. Our ass should be 50 metres down the field with a free kick on goal, with due care to get Dion off the ground.

What actually happened was, Bend Over Boys, Graham kick, shotgun play on, 5m from a Player who intentionally made Prohibited Contact against an opposition Player who has disposed of the football for the purpose of preventing that Player from taking part in the next act of play

This looks correct.
A reaming in every way possible so far…

I’m going to ask an uncomfortable question - why was Prestia walked off the ground? Unconscious for 60 seconds and no neck collar? Lifted by a trainer? No spinal board? And hence no stopped play?

Had an ambo over for dinner tonight. Described what happened and his jaw dropped - as did mine!

Balme has said the no stretcher decision was on RFC. Stupid, only reason I can think why is they thought he would pass a concussion test.

I can't remember the last time I saw someone taken off on a stretcher, it's like they don't want to hold up play.
Team doctors need to lift their game .

Not just King now. The media are piling on... Here's Lyon & Rooey going "the Spud" Christian and AFL Barbrady

Trust our ****ing piss weak club to say we were probably at fault. Ffs grow a pair and put some heat on the AFL, we shouldn’t have to be pleading for play to stop. That footage is ****ing embarrassing for this sport.

Just strange. I was at the game and he was out cold for 60 seconds. Anyone could see he was done - you don’t need to be a doctor to see that. And no collar for a serious concussion (?) is honestly really poor.

Stretcher call one thing - but the rest concerns me.

absolutely ****ing pathetic on part of the Richmond medicos. They need to be replaced ...

I think this has to be five weeks minimum.

He goes on about good character etc,.. but that means to me it has been lowered from six weeks and beyond

Not a fan of Selwood either who had a smile at Stewart during the game after the act
It's just another reminder if one was needed, of why Selwood has been and continues to be one of the most universally reviled characters in football.
