Will be hilarious if the Dogs finish 5th given how arrogant a lot of their fans on here have been all year.

Dogs huge chance to miss top 4....

who would of thought
Especially since they were going to be unbeatable once Dunkley and Treloar came back

Well that's what they were saying anyway

We wish that were true - unfortunately our wins/losses this year have been a matter of when we decide to show up and put in effort - not even home games have been a comfort to us fans this year.
True but I think you are worse away from home. Like us you don’t deserve to make finals. The giants and bombers deserve those last 2 spots.

Dogs don’t have a finals style game, dees and cats do, giants as well. I could see dogs going out in straight sets especially if the get someone like the giants in a semi final.

So assuming Fremantle win today

1. Melbourne (66) - 132%
2. Geelong (64) - 129%
3. Port Adelaide (64) - 127%
4. Western Bulldogs (60) - 134%
5. Brisbane (56) - 133%
6. Sydney (56) - 115%
7. GWS (42) - 99%
8. Essendon (40) - 107%
-----------------------------------------------------
9. West Coast (40) - 94%
10. Fremantle (40) - 90%
11. Richmond (36) - 98%

Those are the teams that can realistically make it (and even Richmond is stretching it a bit)

With the ladder predictor I have the first week of the finals looking like this

Melbourne vs Brisbane
Port Adelaide vs Geelong
Bulldogs vs Essendon
Sydney vs GWS

Sydney vs GWS would be a cracker.
Shame a derby final is being played away.

I reckon the bombers are in even if they somehow lose to the Pies. Saints will beat Freo and Eagles will lose by 100 to the Lions

The Bulldogs vs Port game is the linchpin game. Right now Port has to be the favourtes only because of the Bulldogs crappy form, but in saying that Port don't have a great record against other top 8 sides.

Surely Essendon and GWS won't lose to Collingwood and Carlton.

If they somehow do, things could be dicey but St Kilda are genuinely playing decent footy and Brisbane have a Top 4 spot on the line so I can't see them tanking. So I can't see West Coast cracking it and Freo aren't clear-cut favourites. Essendon have a 10% advantage on Richmond too, so I think Richmond are basically out of it.

Yep. Brisbane need to win and they need to win by about 6 goals. Then they have to watch Port vs the Bulldogs and hope Port wins. All those things are qute possible. Who would have guessed a month ago Brisbane stood a good chance of making the top 4 as they looked dead and buried.

Port vs Dogs will likely be on friday night so we'll know if there's still a chance before we play.

Dogs v Port will be Friday night so thats gonna set up what will have to happen in the remaining games.

Not a great situation for either Port or the Bulldogs actually as both clubs will be playing like it is a finals match, meaning they are going to get more banged up than whoever they will be playing in the finals the week after.
