You miss the point. Out of all the removals from our list we needed to make more than one move and yes even with Bennell I don't believe we have improved enough based on the tone from the club after the season ended.

We finished top of the ladder so can't improve more than this, that is not the problem, it is standing up in pressure finals which we have not done in the last couple of years. We seem to be a bit like Richmond, not winning the big games in the last 2 years yet really not doing anything about it in the off season

Again your not seeing my point or maybe I'm not phrasing it correctly. IF the players currently on our list are going to do the job then why didn't they? As you said we lost 1 player from our best 22 and replaced it with a midfielder. Repeat to me again what Lyon said after we lost to Hawthorn. We didn't lose because of the players that got delisted or retired. We lost with the players that are still on the list.

Alex Pearce replaces Macca not a midfielder, with the likes of Mayne, Suban, Deboer and Mzungu getting replaced by Taberner, Bennell, Langdon, Weller and Blakely. Hopefully adding more class and allowing Fyfe to play forward a lot more.

History shows you need Good Key forwards to win premierships, BUT we weren't far off from knocking off hawthorn without an effective KPF in the prelim. Our SKILLS are what cost us and poor umpiring not a KPF.

In addition, we don't know what crozier offer next season , might be reverse of GU 2014 and 2015 season. I rather see 2016 as a season to see some young in our list grow eg blakely ready for mundy role in 2017 season.

Pretty sure Fyfe has made it. Hurley however sounds like another Mourish/Sibosado/Moller longshot that people put ridiculous faith in somehow making it.

Happens so often on this board, but I don't know why people string a list of young blokes who have played few games to give padding to their argument. Do they revisit the lists they compiled in 2010, 2011, 2012 etc? Most of those they listed then have gone.
