I am one Jong re-signing away from kicking the doors in at Whitten oval.

In all seriousness I have never been a fan of his and feel we have enough depth in the area.

I will seriously question this club if we let a club favourite such as Libba go. I can live with Adams as he can barely get on the field. And if Hunter leaves I will give up AFL forever. Rant over.

IF this is all true I wonder if one of my fans will troll back to last October where I said Dahl, Libba, Hunter and Biggs were all very upset and were looking at all their options.

If Bulldogs_6 says Adams is probably gone, I'd say it's highly likely that he is. Which is a shame. I like Adams. I hope we can get something decent for him.

Will if this is true, what are the reasons? Not making finals, injuries, our medical and fitness staff, missing Perth? Which is it?

Heard similar from a former player's sister. Am desperately hoping Hunter came around.

Imagine if this did happen

Everyone that has given Barrett shite will have to admit he was indeed correct and Bev certainly has his player issues

Ouch!!!!!!

So glad some of you have a sense of humour about all of this.
Unfortunately, despite winning a premiership some of us fear being pillaged and r*ped, and not being seen as a viable alternative. But hey we all laughed long and hard at Norf, but they kep persisting and look like they might get a couple of decent players finally. So we just have to persevere.

About 30 mins ago I finished my 3rd can of Mercury Hard Cider. Since then, this thread is suddenly the funniest thing I’ve ever seen...

Gooooo Dooooggggggssss

Last glass of a bottle of sav for me, and I am depressed. :(

Hey I’m using laughter to mask the deep, dark fear, not meaning to offend anyone. It’s just after 50 years of watching good players leave, I think the flag has finally made me immune to whatever happens. Plus it’s where the game is heading - free agency is just a lever, but the AFL will become the FA if the current trend continues.

It's just a game, mate. It's not worth getting depressed about. It doesn't matter who comes or who leaves. The club will still be here. Imagine how Hawks fans felt when they lost Buddy. But they got on with things and went on to win three flags in a row. If its overwhelming for you just tune out for a while and focus your attention elsewhere. Things are never as bad or as good as they seem in footy, especially given the 24-hour news cycle on steroids that is the lead up to trade week.
The only reason I'm still here is because while everyone is jumping at shadows it is a perfect opportunity to troll.

Well said. Think I’ll give it a rest too. Whatever happens, happens.

Not offended at all, rather relieved actually. I’m afraid being a Bulldog I am always going to be anxious and worried.

Hey thanks for your concern, appreciate it. I’m a bit tongue in cheek sometimes, I teach people resilience so luckily I have a bit in store. Most of the time I am annoyingly optimistic, but sometimes with all the rumours I get a bit testy. :greenalien:

Firstly a disclaimer: I know Ivan personally, and he can be a funny guy... as well as a grumpy old b4stard.

That aside, his posting stream tonight was mildly amusing, not sure many caught the obscure Whitlam reference, but tying violins, electric guitars, the Wiggles and whatever else together is surely attributable to more than 3 cans of cider! Well done fella...

Hoping for positive rumours with 10-15 pages to catch up on, but nothing but doomsday predictions...

Dahl, Hunter, Adams all gone & Libba possibly as well? Cool
