Mine looks similar.
Would love keath and also be happy with butler
Would prefer hill over I.Smith
And wouldn't want Martin for the first rounder that he'll cost.
Would like Elliot as a FA

Spot on really.

Really liking the mix in that forward line. I really think that haul of players is really achievable.

If it comes off I can’t wait to see it in action. I mean imagine have a wingman in Isaac who can lace it out in front of Naughton.

Also the intercept ability of that back line with Keith and Crozier

I get the feeling that as usual we will be disappointed come end of trade period. We probably might catch a smart pickup like we have with Crozier/Lloyd in particular but again we will miss out on the bigger names like Darling/ B.Hill etc. obviously big names don’t automatically equal success but we are at a stage where we need to find several best 22 players.

Hoping we throw a curveball. How bout a 900k/6y deal at Hugh Mcluggage. We are on the look out for a classy wingman. Let’s shake the tree.

The time is now to go extremely hard at several names.
I actually wouldn't hate that. Maybe not at that price. But offer him enough to come back home. Would be perfect for us.

Keath news is encouraging. Might even provide some evidence to the "defenders are easier to find than forwards" argument that keeps doing the rounds...

One thought that occurs regarding key defenders - we have been very lucky so far this year. Two unfortunate injuries to Trenners and Cordy and we're down to relying on Lew Young and (maybe? probably!) Jong to play those roles (Fletch most likely being banished from the side). Even if Hartley is the only one we get, we need some form of backup IMO.

Think the Keith link is looking very likely as it makes sense for both club and player. Is he a FA or RFA?

Would we all be happy with a Keith, Martin and Smith/Hill free agency?

I think I would be ecstatic considering theres not much else out there that is gettable and they all plug big holes we need... we arent just spending cause we have to we are filling 3 key needs

I'd be content with three of those. I think that would get us contending next year provided a bit of improvement from some of the young lads (Richards in particular).

Would be happy with Keath and Hill/Smith would quite happily leave Martin alone. Would certainly fill some area's of need for us

People keep saying Cordy would be better as the third tall, and I agree, but is there any way we actually play 3 talls? We'd have to cut/move one of our rebounders and I don't see us doing that. We love them so much that at one point we had Cordy and Wood as our KPDs to fit in Williams for the extra pace. Now if we had a KPD like Moore or Sicily I could see us doing it but otherwise I'm not sure we'd go for that.

Don't know a lot about Keath. Is he like Lever where he gets to run around unchecked because Talia does all the heavy lifting or does he hold his own?
Wood shouldn't play tall. He's 185cm and while he can intercept he's better on the mid sizers, of which many teams play more than one. I don't think he has long left as it is given his age and injury history.

Cordy has natural aggression which can't be taught. He plays.

What would we have to give up to get Keath?

Have to admit I can barely recall seeing the guy play.
Adelaide have Doedee coming back but Keith may well make the AA squad, he's been that good this year.

Please not Isaac Smith. He’s not half the player he was a couple years ago and he’s the wrong side of 30 for a bloke who relies so much on his pace.

Maybe it’s just me but I see Bailey Smith as a perfect option long term for that wing opposite Hunter. He’s got the explosiveness, the skill and the work rate. He’s obviously good on the inside as well but we’re chock full of inside mids.

In terms of picks I’m happy to overpay slightly to make sure we get the players we need. Especially when we get two free hits with academy selections next season.

We have 3 3rd rounders which can be used to push aggressively into the early second round then we should have 3 top 30 picks which can all go on the table.

I’d still saddle up and offer 2019 and 2020 first for Mcluggage plus Brisbane 2020 second rounder.

It is a bit deflating to see our need for key defenders when we have had Hambling, L Jones, Adams, Roughead on our list. I know they left for different reasons but if we had say 2 of these on our list this season we would be playing finals.
Can also add to that Kieran Collins as an early 2nd round draft pick not working out.

Hamling's the one which stands out in that list most of all, such a shame we couldn't keep him.

Adams has not been fit all season and would have contributed nothing. We were right to get rid.

Roughead is a good guy and I wish him well, however he is being flattered at the moment. He sits very deep and earns 20 cheap possessions a week. His stats look fine but he is a distinctly average footballer.

I don’t think either player would be getting us any nearer to a spot in the finals.
