Who would even be there that would make it worthwhile? Hayden Young is my favourite at the top end, but really don't need his type. Flanders next most suitable in that range, but feel like Pick 3 is reaching a lot. Just think this year, of all years, is not the time for us to move up the order. Way too many inside mids and half backs at the top end

Rather just take Weightman/McAsey at 13, or trade out of the 1st round completely

Since they took a fringe mid in Tyson and a first rounder for the pick that got J Kelly.
How about we offer them Daniel and pick 13. Then we draft Young, as a replacement and much better HBF.

Give to GC for future 1st? If we managed something like that, then I'd be fully onboard. Just wouldn't have an interest in taking a pick that early to this particular draft where it's already relatively weak, and the top end is not suited to us

If the list manager wouldn’t do it, you need to get a new one with bigger balls.

Melbourne are deluded if they think they're getting two top 10 picks in return for Pick 3. Could've done it last year when the top end was absolutely elite, but this year there's little separating ~Pick 3 to 8, then the next 10 to 15 after that aren't much further behind. Only the top 2 are real standouts this year

So basically to get pick 3 it would cost us 13,32 and probably two thirds at least. So with a shitload of salary cap and only Jamie Elliot to throw money at, with two guys already wanting to come to us, you want us to abandon that to go and get yet another kid or trade everything away for more points next year?

Somebody’s bright idea. TG BF isn’t arranging trades. Bevo has said he wants to keep this group together. I can’t think why people persist in scenarios involving trading McLean or anyone else, it can’t happen. A player has to request a trade.

Was being lighthearted, but seriously Daniel just finished b&f top 5 in a year where he missed 5 games. You don't trade out a player like that, with a first rounder, for an upgrade.
