The codes of conduct are public documents (for my sins, I am intimately familiar with them).

We are commenting on an actual review commissioned by an external party, not a one-off allegation.

It is believed the review was similar in scope to Collingwood's 'Do Better' review of 2021 and will have similarly dramatic ramifications.

They probably could but I doubt pick 7 will be on the table for Dunkley. They'd probably give what they get for Rankine plus maybe a player like Burgess or Corbett.

Yeah. That was a pretty unique situation, I'm not quite sure if the Dunkley situation is comparable.
If he does suddenly U-turn on the Brisbane deal I'd expect Port to be in the box seat.

It does change how we approach Brisbane though. Do we try and get a player & picks instead of just picks?

I do wonder whether we have been working on another player though and need Brissie's picks for that. We did seem to be linked to Brisbane picks only pretty quickly.

This "natural justice" bullshit Gil spouted and the minions are banging on about on SEN is a flog.

AFL house have been sitting on racism and dodgy behaviour in its entire existence.

I am supportive of this independent investigation because hopefully it will include all clubs and aspects of the AFL organisation BUT I am a little concerned with the AFL's hypocrisy on the matter.

In this specific case, i'm not really sure what they AFL could have done. They got the report 2 weeks ago. They're hardly going to go rushing to the media without dotting the i's and crossing the t's.

But yes historically (and probably still) there is a rather large rug and broom at AFL house that gets put to frequent use

Griff was never a bad guy. He loved the club. He wore the fallout of Brendan McCartney. He netted us a premiership indirectly.

Yes it hurt but he gave us more service than Dunks ever could. In vastly more difficult circumstances.

I was angry with Griffen at the time but nowhere near as angry as I am with Dunkley. The p** has done the 'I wanna trade' spoilt toddler thing twice now and clearly as you say has s* people around him (hi Dad). But, hey, he can go and preen himself up and down Brisbane's main strip and be ignored by the entire city because they have no idea who he is. He'll hate that.

Where was I putting words in his mouth? I gave him the right to deny he didn't take. People can have different opinions thats the point of this site is it not to debate differing opinions? Or do we all just have to think the same and agree with everything said?
