I know it’s been discussed earlier in this thread, but what about paddy Dow to bolster our mid field next year. Watched him in saints game and came alight in last quarter.
Please god no. There aren’t many players i would like to recruit less than this bloke. He’s a VFL player. Adds nothing to the blues at AFL level. Forget his draft pick, he hasn’t been able to adjust to the elite level.

I don’t agree here. Of the non-key forwards, McCreery had 8 tackles and 29 pressure acts, Elliott had 4 tackles and 16 pressure acts, Hill had 3 tackles and 14 pressure acts...

Ginnivan had 0 tackles and 7 pressure acts. In a forward line that's well tuned and good at locking the ball in, that's atrocious.

Weightman and Scott aren't the best pressure forwards in the league but they are light years ahead of Ginnivan in that respect imo.

That’s one game as sub. If you look at the whole of last season when he was playing full games regularly, he’s a bit off Weightman but he’s on par with Scott. Less tackles, more pressure acts than Scott. Neither are light years ahead of him.

Treloar really isn’t worth as much as some might think. Gun player when fit but he’s quite injury prone, and now he’s in his 30s you can only expect that to get worse. Suns could easily afford a trade for him, it’s more a matter of whether we’d want to let him go

Would think Brisbane would be the one he would go too

I’ve been thinking this is on the cards. Based on nothing bar I think Brisbane are 1 more mid away from flag contention and his family plus dunks is in QLD already.

If we somehow pulled out the unbelievable and won the flag I think he would 100% be out the door. But even if not, Dunks might convince him that Brisbane are closer to one than we are.

If we were ever to trade Treloar this year would be the time to do it. With his soft tissue history the cliff will come quickly. I'd prefer to hold onto him but if he wanted out I wouldn't lose sleep over it.
Gives Bailey Smith more Midfield time

He’s contracted and very important for our structure he has played most games this year

Yeah but he's on the wrong side of 30 and is injury prone. If we want pick 5, you're not getting it for a straight swap.
Then you make it a 3rd he is contracted for numerous years attends 75% of our CBAs is elite for disposals above average for clearances/SI/Goals why would we not expect significant overs?

He is contracted why would you give up a first rounder on top of that for a mid averaging 30 and a goal every 2nd game?
Without the Bulldogs glasses on that is way overs. The Gulf between 5 - 16 is huge not to mention the risk of a Croft bid before 16.
Getting up to 5 while keeping 13 and our future picks would be a massive Coupe. I'd even do 5 for 16, 35 and Treloar.

How many games do you expect Treloar to play next year?
