If it’s true Zane Duursma is not happy at North I wonder if we have a crack. He was a very impressive junior.

Surely it’d be Essendon running this to join him up with his brother.

Buderick fills the small defender role (Jaques/Walker/Sellwood developing)
Chandler type to fill the half forward (Dolan developing)

Outside of that JOD and Lobb are a fantastic KPD duo Darcy Naughton and a fantastic KPF duo midfield has depth as well as Freijah Sanders Hynes types to develop further, Davo and Truck solid reliable wings

Would like another young key defender at the club. Taj Murray would be my choice.

Indy Cotton the big one multiple clubs are chasing. Great basketballer is only 18 and played AFL up until the age of 14. His dad is also a former Port player and Current Gold Coast coach so it isn't like it is a foreign sport to him.

Adz,LJones,JJ,Duryea.
Plus who know how Flea is going to be long term, that's potentally before any delistings.
But we have some serious salary cap to help our draft hand.

is the perfect Libba replacement and he has an outside element to his game also

We have already Treloar has played 2 games this year , Jones + Duryea only 4

JJ has played the most of 8 which is just over half of the games we have played this year.

We have Freijah/Sanders/VDM/JOD/Davidson are all stepping up playing good fairly consistent football

Dolan and Hynes have played a handful of games and shown they are more then capable

Jaques/L.Kennedy/Croft/Smith/Walker/Sellwood showing good signs in the 2's

Keep drafting well pick up a Buderick type as a priority and see where it goes from there

I'm becoming a bit concerned about Weightman. I have no inside knowledge but the repeated infections and surgical procedures are a worry. You can get some nasty hospital bugs that are difficult to treat.

He brings a lot to the team so I will be hoping for a clean bill of health and a full pre-season but I have to say I'm a bit pessimistic at the moment. It could be a long road back if the latest clean-out doesn't work.

Then there's the mental side of it. Unlike JUH he has been able to keep a low profile in the media. That could be a good thing. He has his artistic pursuits and he seems the sort that can ride these things out, but who knows?

Libba is a JET footballer and brings so much more to the club such as soul

Wouldn't be shocked to see similar news for Sanders very shortly. Might just be ironing out a few more dollars is all.

Zane is my guess. Curently languishing in North's VFL side. Kicks goals consistently at that level. Contracted til the end of next year so, if true, we would need to stump up an offer.

Edit: Perhaps he means Willum Duursma who is currently looking like a very high end pick in this year's draft.
Clarification please??

Zane is the one who’s been recently reported as wanting out. Xavier only traded to Essendon a year or two ago and getting consistent footy there, and we won’t be up Willem’s end of the draft.
