Bennell didn't get games with the Eagles because he was apparently not playing to the web structure.

He was also dropped back to the East Perth reserves a few times this year he was that bad, he was always gone.

found form midway through the season and repaied the faith MC and coaches had in him.

He was one of our best for East Perth in the final we lost . Has been named in the best in the wafl a few times this season .
One of our most improved this year .

FWIW I don't think he was living in that house, from the advertisement it seems like he was renting out the rooms to other people and he's had enough.

pretty sure he played sate u/16's with them. He had 6 years away from the game and had to transform his body from a baseballer into an AFL player. Its not an easy thing to do as AFL players not only need to be really strong but have to be extremely fit. He deserved another year.

yeah ok I would've been fine if they didn`t delist and gave him another year it doesn't bother me . He was a project player we put on the list but maybe he didn't review well with improvement in key areas he was told to work on.

would you trade emac for 2 second round picks to the suns if he cannot be used to get lobb. That probably gets us a very good player with our first pick and then spp and/or bolton with our 2 second rounders.

I`ve gone off SPP after watching Hutchings ,Yeo ,Priddis , Wellingham and Masten shank so many kicks get someone who can kick like Rotham or Logue .

KM say that he lacks defensive pressure and based off the two games i have seen of him, i kinda agree. Unless its improved since i saw him earlier in the year, he would need to improve his defensive game before he plays for us.

I have this feeling that David Swallow will be wearing our colours next season. West Coast have probably given him an offer after all the turmoil that's come out of GC.

Future 1st + 2nd for David Swallow and one of GC's second rounders?

FYI I took the following in the trial Mock.

Pick 14 . Rotham.
Pick 32 . Atley
Pick 50 . Guelifi.
Pick 68 . Strnadica
Pick 86 . Jye Bolton

Love what this draft could do for our mids long-term. Atley at the second would be great value. From the shitty youtube comps I have watched as a casual the second round looks very interesting and I agree it would be great to get another pick there.

A couple of questions from someone too lazy to look at the mock thread itself, Monocle. Why no Waterman, was he picked too early for your liking?

Secondly what ruck prospects did you think we'd look at in this draft, and where are they? Something from WA that will last to the rookie draft? Obviously this last one is the sort of thing that might be impacted by trades and thus not something that a mock can readily take into account.
