I don't think Murphy will miss.

But a full strength Port Adelaide destroyed our injury depleted line up so I'd say Essendon would do the same.

Not for me. I don't see why we would bring in a 3rd tall type in Membrey. It would need to be a midfielder & that's why I'd imagine it would be more like Zak Jones.

I'm also very happy to keep any early picks & take Petracca & Brayshaw.

We'll be missing (at their best) Melksham, Fletcher and Bellchambers, but Steinberg and Ambrose are looking good as replacements right now for the last 2 respectively.

Why not Robinson? He's our next highest performing midfielder, not Jones

I get the Jones love, but Sydney won't trade him. Membrey is a much more realistic option as he's not had the opportunity to break in to the senior team and fills a need for us. Who are our third tall types at the moment? Our forward line is either tall and not that mobile or small and not great overhead. I think we could really use a guy like Membrey who is strong overhead and has some tricks at ground level too.

I also said those two would just about do it for me... I would hope for a pick swap in our favour as well.

What do people think of Dayne Beams requesting to be traded back to the Lions at the end of the year and Brisbane offering pick 4?

Not exactly an outrageous trade IMO.

Issue would be Collingwood heeding to Danyes request.

it's not exactly isolated though. Leads the VFL goal kicking going into the last day of the home and away season

i wouldnt trade pick 4 which will be pick 5 for him to come to the saints. but thats just me

if it was pick 4 (i.e. dees dont get frawley compo). i wonder if the pies would trade pick 4 and pick 10-12 (what ever they end up with) for Pick 1

How many did Waite kick in the VFL? Grimley would be playing seniors at Visy.

I wouldn't trade Lester. Need him as a big bodied midfielder. And just re-signed earlier this year.

They can have pick 4 and Polkinghorne though.
