it took me three time and i couldn't get it to work so i just let it be. Poor clefy must have like 3 or 4 alerts that wont pop up.

Pretty harsh for a guy that put his body on the line for the club over and again. I wish him all the best and hope he gets a go somewhere else.

Don't wish him ill, just wish he was on another list. He's not up to standard. His best wasn't good enough or long enough to hold on to him beyond being useful.

I'm not sure Cyril has had to lose 16kg over a pre-season before

He dropped 15 kg this season whilst at Glenelg and was invited to yesterdays SA State Combine where , by all accounts he impressed.

Mitchell was an absolute coup, but if that's the only trade we make other than taking a backup ruckman like minson it's going to be hard for me to get too excited about our trade period given mitchell will only play one season and our side is dangerously circling no man's land.

I reckon we really needed to try get an extra pick in by trading out mackenzie/masten or getting adams in. Just seems like it could end up a bit meh long term this period. Something might still happen I guess. Getting nothing at all not even a third rounder or pick upgrade for brown is a bit of a loss.

How were we supposed to get something for Brown again?

It might be beyond our control if there's that little interest. But I would have expected something, even if it was only pick 50-70 type thing we could actually use another one of those. I would have hoped that's what we may have gotten if he got picked up FA. If we ain't even getting that I would have preferred keep him and sell ezy.

I don't think any of us liked our trade period last year but I don't think anyone thought It would have ended up that bad. I at least thought Redden would have been best 22. We gave up our first rounder for him...
