I wonder how the actual Bris staff rate Clarke in relation to Tippett? If they won't accept 2 first rounders for Clarke, they can't expect Tipp to go for any less.

It will be nothing then. There is no way the lions would trade for pick 5 last year, then draft Polec to only trade him away a year later. Once he starts getting games and showing how good he will be his value will skyrocket.

And I would be happy with that. Remember, you are the one's trying to recruit him, we arent trying to sell him off

I have a hunch that the fact we are chasing johnstone, a key position forward, might mean late in trade week we may conceed to trading Tippett to Brisbane for one of the multiple options listed throughout the thread.

Johnston cant play key forward (otherwise he would have played more than 2 gmes for us this year, beaucse we are in desperate need of a bif FF). he is very much a gunston type forward

Redden and Polec is an absolute rip off for Brisbane, I find that very hard to believe that Adelaide would think they could get both players for Tippett. If they really did ask for those 2 players then that's a sign they don't want to trade unless we significantly pay overs which won't happen under Kerr. Doubt a trade will happen, the GWS trades and now Clark have really slowed down trade week for us.

Pick 8 plus Redden (not Polec) would be an acceptable alternative.

You want our 202 cm forward/ ruckman as a replacement for Brown and we don't want to trade him.

He's contracted, he's not on the market and we want to keep him, but you keep pestering us saying that you want him.

There's a tipping price for evrything and the high price that we have put on it reflects how highly we value Tippett with a bit of overs to make it happen.

You don't have to pay that price. It's your choice.

Our preferred position is to keep Tippett anyway

Would rather keep Tipp (which is most likely).

Effectively Adelaide swap Tippett for Trengove
Melbourne swap Trengove for Clarke (Apparently they've offered him a motza, they must rate him. Would the Clarke offer be more than Trengove is getting?)
Brisbane swap Clarke for Tippett.

Bit of a mega deal in terms of player quality. Maybe Bris need to throw in 34 with Clarke.
