Hey guys bit of a report on training today which i found out is the last skills session for the year. First interesting point was that there was no coaches on the ground for the entire session, they all sat on the balcony at the club and looked on.....very interesting. In the 1km it was the same 3 top finishers but different order today 1st smith 2nd crowley 3rd foster. Was a great race crowley looked like he was home but smith sprinted the last 100m and got him about 15m befor the line. Crowley looks very good I really think this will be his year. As i said no coaches so the players seemed to organise themselves, was very impressed as the session seemed to flow very well. Black and Carr were running laps they seem to be coming along really well. I 'm really looking forward to the new year and seeing all the guys out on the track. O'brien still hasn't been out there yet, did see him on an exercise bike so must be some sort of ailment hopefully nothing serious as there should be some big things from him next season. all in all its still looking good, bring on 08

That is very interesting. Obviously Harves and co are trying to instil the discipline into the group that they are responsible for their own high standards.

Sounds a lot like what happened down at Geelong this year with Bomber saying the playing group took a lot of ownership and responsibility for what they were trying to achieve. I like it.

Cheers for all the training updates stripes. Much appreciated from someone who doesn't have the opportunity to ever see training. I love reading any snippets people put on here.
