Hi guys, I have mentioned before I have traveled from overseas for my pilgrimage and today I am planning to head down to the Westpak center for training. As I have never been just wondering if people how the best way to get into the center. I am taking my 5 year old and I do have a car but is it easier to train it in from the northern suburbs?? Do the players stick around to sign things and take a few pics?? How long does the training go for??

Thanks to anyone that can answer the questions.

Hey mate, best way is to catch the train to Richmond station, or any tram that says it's going to Richmond, as the ground is really close to both areas.

Training starts at 10.30 today, and will go for between 30 and 60 minutes, and then the players exit through a roped off area, signing as they go, and taking pictures at request.

Then you can walk along Swan Street to the Lexus Centre and have a look at the place afterwards if you want.

It's about a 5 minute walk, but it's flat, so it's ok.

Actual training is held at Gosch's paddock, which is as I said, about a 5 minute walk from the Westpac Centre, but if you catch the train, you will see the training ground from the platform at Richmond if you look the opposite way from the G.

Hope you and your kid have fun.

aonyone get some pic of training today

I was there but the old phone snaps dont do the trick

he was running freely at training

He was also the first on the ground with Thomas

from what i saw he looked good in the drills they were doing, providing run, kicking long and overall looked fine..so all indications point to the big H not being injured but i guess well have to wait n see. maybe hes not 100%? who knows

edit: just a quick after thought. maybe the pies didnt want to give too much away to the bulldogs scouts and decided to pull him off the track.

could be number of reasons why he went off early and i dont want to speculate. i just hope hes 100%!!!!!

All players have a different training schedules...wouldnt think he was injured for just leaving the track early

Friday training is a nothing session in terms of the week, pretty much just a kick around

No reason to be concerned about Harry

In "training related" news, JB all but confirmed that if we make the GF, the last training session will be at Victoria Park, which to me makes a lot of sense.

I can't imagine 10,000 people standing around the oval at Gosch's Paddock, it would be out of control.

Vic Park could easily handle a crowd of that magnitude.

You would have to take the day of work/school, as you would have the GF parade in the morning, and training a few hours later, you couldn't miss it.
