Mega Thread TRAINING REPORTS

Well it's an open training session today for the kids so I won't be heading down there today.

Just a question for Salim and the other training regulars, Sunday game in Melbourne this week so we would normally train on Wednesday and then Friday before flying out.

The boys will be really sore after that derby so I doubt they will do much this week.

Anyone heading down this week?

Harry its a Sat game isnt it? Thurs training and tThurs pm fly out

Went down to the open day with the GF. Shame the weather was terrible for it but there was a pretty decent turnout.

As for actual training it was pretty much nothing. A group of about 15 did about an eight length jog of the oval at snails pace before doing some simple handpass drills then moved onto the signings. Suban did a few run throughs as did Tanner Smith I think. Crozier and Menegola just ran laps while Clancee was just walking around in his joggers. Also RTB was no where to be seen.

As for the signings most of the guys were happy to pose for pictures and sign whatever. Ballantyne was by far the most popular with him unable to move due to the fans constantly flocking to him, Hilly and Fyfe also got held up everywhere. However it was DeBoer, Spurr and Michie who got my missus all hot and bothered (those hunky bastards), Le Pig was especially popular with the ladies. Moller and Smith seemed pretty reluctant to sign anything, I think they were a bit embarrassed having never played a game. Unfortunately as soon as the heavens opened again the players were called inside and it seemed like it all finished a bit ahead of scheduled.

I refuse to go to the family days now following a run in with the lady who does the face painting. I distinctly asked for Ace Frehley and was given Peter Criss instead.

"I will not be attending again!"

What on earth were you thinking?

You should know that Ace is the only KISS member whose signature colour isn't represented in Fremantle's official colours.

They should have been training their guts out today .
Perfect conditions for the Richmond game and they blew it ,

I don't know what this club is coming too . Are we becoming PRIMA DONAS or what.;):):mad:

So full-training session today boys?

Curious as to what Pav does at training. I've heard from one of my (not completely reliable) sources that Pav struggled to finish the game on Sun, and pushed himself the extra mile to help get the four points. Apparently it was possible he was going to need a week off anyway, which contributed to RTB's decision not to challenge.

To the naked eye you could see Pav was uncomfortable on Sunday, and kept coming off to be treated. I doubt it was going to be a 3 week injury however, but as a consolation-prize it'd be nice to know he'll be returning back to us fully-fit at the sticky end of the season.

Training Report

There we all were in the freezing cold wind, huddled around Bluey's cigarette trying to keep warm.

No sign of Pav at all today, nor Crozier, Clancee Pearce and Nick Suban. However Ballaz was there running a couple of light laps and Paul Duffield trained lightly as well.

It was great seeing Ballaz running light laps as it showed that the injury can't too bad.

The main squad took it easy today, however someone must had done something wrong because everyone had to hit the ground and give Ross 50 push ups. Duffield joined the main squad later for a couple of drills and he seemed to be moving okay. I think he will play this week.

The WAFL boys trained separately and included Lachie Neale, whom is the obvious one to come in for Ballaz seeing that Crozier appears to still be injured.

Mora trained with the main group before once again going back to his solo boundary line running. The only difference today was that his intensity and pace has now been increased.

All in all just a light day on the track as the boys are still recovering from the derby.

I expect a decent hit out on Friday before the team fly's out.

Crichtonator still with thr WAFL group and going well in match sims? I'm getting edgey for his first appearance this year.
Starting to succumb to the fact I may just not see him at all. :(

Yep, he sure was Seppo, mullet and all.

He looked good and kicked a great left foot snap goal.

It was tonga in cheek moment which Im ashamed to admit too as you wouldn't have got me out there in a fit even if you offered me free coffee and a warm woman after it.

I'm sure we can organise samoan for you

WAFL group.

Which borderline guys trained with the main group mate??

I see Neale and Michie with WAFL, Croz, Subes and Clancee a no show so their must have been a small group there of the main group.....
