If you had to pick one out of Drury or Archer for a back pocket spot in the best 22 it’d be a very tough decision to make at the moment!

Well yes and I understand what it is you're saying. Arch has only played 3 games, so I kind of hope that is the case.

Our backs are; Archer, Bergman ( know is Dandenong coach and he thinks he'll be a star with a bit more weight on) McDonald, McKay, Corr, Logue, Bonar, Perez, Hall, Drury and I assume Tucker.

EDit;
Bolded locks if fit

+ Dawson and I reckon Tucker plays mids

Thanks again for the report gentleman! Really appreciate it. Really excited to hear about Curtis running through the midfield, he is a slippery customer and has some seriously impressive evasive skill, could be a real point of difference at times in the midfield.

Any word on how some of the less talked about players went, players like Powell, Mahony, Lazz, Young, Perez & Ford?

Well I've arrived onsite 7:30 am on the dot !! According to my timesheet anyways.

A good question you did raise.

Well it takes some 'work' to do this successfully I was originally based on the first floor of the building, oh I am the only site rep which makes it easier.
When I was on the first floor I'd have project managers visit me and get in the way.

So moved myself up to level 3, in a building without any lifts, these blighters are too lazy to walk 3 flights of stairs. An important bit of info that.

I started off full of hope and was keen to assist their development and improvement. But they have no desire for any of it. Was told to stop assisting and just look after what you can. So that is what I do.

I answer the phone when someone rings and when I leave between 3:20- 3:30pm as it takes 40-50 minutes to drive home, I wait until just after 4:00pm and ring some campaigner. Always get gee you've knocked off why you ringing.
I say well I've just left ya know.

Then they had a couple of legacy maintenance issues ie sports hall roof leaks, no one could bother getting them fixed, so I sorted that out. Was made to feel very special, I mean FFS people, it's ya job!!

Another mind bender was a level 9 rooftop garden leak, the dude in charge had half of it emptied ( it's huge) and it took wheelbarrows down lifts to do it. He seems to lose interest and it had sat half-empty with s**t everywhere for the past 14 months. He decided it was an issue with the waterproofing membrane.

Finally, with enough complaints of having a lovely area looking like the Somme, the job was given to me. It as I thought was a broken stormwater pipe, yeah I had the plumber's camera the drain.

So I did need a massive crane truck to access it, but it wasn't difficult, so what they thought was a 150K issue ended up being a 29K issue.

Like Harris 10 ( awesome work fyi- proud of you) if you make yourself available and seem to have a little bit of knowledge it is easy to keep a job when you're surrounded by dills. That have NFI how to run an operations team.

I will be looking to move on shortly I've about had enough and am better than this place.

Got a mate who keeps thinking like you - gets complacent about the fact he's able to work complacent.

Then he gets angry, quits, gets a "real" job and soon after yearns once again to be complacent.

My advice: "embrace the complace"

In a good way?

Also not asking you RF08 but have Archer's skills improved?

Most definitely in a good way. It's fantastic to see so many of our younger guys coming on and putting pressure on guys who have had it easy for far too long.

By all accounts his skills have been solid in match sim.

Powell pretty active with some midfield time. In very good knick.

Mahony seemed to be chasing Drury’s tail most of the time I saw him.

Didn’t really notice the others in the match sim

This is the process I'm at right now.

Yeah a very valid point I do wonder how I would go if I was expected to work to a level of near competence eight hours a day.

In saying all of that I was chatting to the lovely Ms Sharon and suggested we could look at an FM job for me at a resort somewhere a bit kinder to our aging bones.

Rent the house out as most come with accommodation.

(Re Curtis) And a surprisingly good field kick a lot of the time. Some of his kicks last year surprised me as much as his strength one-on-one.

Powell will be one of our most improved this season. I normally name a breakout player each yr. Yes from 2013- 2018 it was Maj Daw of course.

Powell it will be this season, I didn't realise how upset, annoyed, or if you like deflated and lacking confidence under Nobles he was.

Is a good size and it's his time to shine, is looking tanned and refreshed

I also wonder this, my role consists of working from home and getting 4 to five calls a week, giving my thoughts or advise on what should happen. At times it's boring and you feel like you need a challenge, but the flip side is i get to do everything with the kids eg: School drop off, sport training, games etc.
