Would rather keep him. If he keeps improving at the rate he is, he could easily replace Salah next season and would be a decent squad player.

It's pretty frustrating seeing guys like Cech waste away on the bench. For the sake of his career I hope he is moved on at the end of the season.

Just that a lot of the rules brought in recently are all about limiting clubs ability to stockpile players.

I wonder if they might look at limiting the number of players a club can have out on loan at once. Or maybe stop the practice of buying and loaning out immediately.

As it is you can buy a player, never pay a penny of his salary, loan him out over and over (sometimes for a fee) and sell him for a profit without him ever spending a day at the club. Thats not a whole lot different to 3rd party ownership which is about to be illegal. Not saying that's the purpose of Chelseas loans (or anyone elses) but the opportunity is there.

No, I don't want to replace schneiderlin at all. But if he was going to be moved out, I would like to have a player for odegaard and possibly get good cover to fill a spot until odegaard is ready.

I swear the if and cover bits in that statement were completely overlooked.



We would be silly to let him go in Jan with us challenging for europe. Pretty much a if we are going to let him go I would like odegaard and a replacement if we were to let him go.

Why bring up Odegaard? Surely you dont think you have a shot at him do you? I mean he is whoring himself out to all the biggest clubs on the planet. Surely Southampton wont be where he lands!

EDIT - saw other people brought this up and you answered it. Still I dont think he is looking for somewhere to best develop otherwise he wouldnt be whoring himself about, he would just stay put and play.

Went on about some signings starting to find there feet, im assuming he means Markovic, Lallana and Can etc.

So no doubt we do nothing in Jan.
