Wish we'd bloody go in for him.

That would be too logical though.
I thought of Arsenal, and think he'd do ok. But think he's ideally suited to a defensive minded setup.

Surely he is bloody better than Per.
I'm better than per. £10k a week and I'm there.

And I'm not agile enough to duck out of the way in a hurry so I might have blocked Skrts header.

Was very impressed with Nastasic and thought he would kick on to become one of the worlds top CBs. Would be a great pick up for a team with a style that suits but would City sell to a rival in England?

Don't see why not.

Even the best defenders can be caught out when asked to play an attacking system with a high line. Look at Terry under AVB, I'm pretty sure there were calls for him to retire at the time and 2 years later he's back to being one of the best CB's in the league.

I think Nastasic is a good defender, in time he could become a very good defender, but at this stage at least he simply isn't suited to playing for the likes of City, Liverpool, Arsenal etc because the systems they play do make life difficult for the centre backs. Hopefully he's getting good advice on where to make his next move.

St Étienne director Bernard Caïazzo has sensationally announced to our colleagues at But! that Frenchman and striker Bafétimbi Gomis will be returning to St Étienne.

“Bafétimbi Gomis will come back. That is sure and certain. But when, I don’t know. It does not just depend on us, not just on him. But I am sure that he will participate to take us to the next level, to help us enter into the top three.”

Caïazzo was then asked when Gomis might return:

“It will be in the near future. It does not just depend on us. We don’t control everything.”

Apparently we are pulling Kalas out of Cologne and are looking for an English loan with QPR keen.
I want to see the twitter meltdowns of Ferdinand when Kalas replaces him in the QPR back 4. Will be brilliant.

Reid to Arsenal calls getting louder. I'll believe it when I see it.

Is Reid that good? I dont watch West Ham and he was terrible against Arsenal.

Yeah im not overly sold on him either.

dont think nasty can cut it in england if he's in a team that breaks quickly. similar to savic, who now crafted out quite a decent career in italy.

What about playing alongside a faster CB like Laurent Koscielny?

Yep, horrible loan.

Like us with Zuculini.

I like the loan system as a development tool, but clubs really need to be careful where they send players.

Tend to think loaning foreign players to English clubs is a bit better for them anyway, if the intention is for them to eventually break into the first team.
