QPR say hi :D

Yes and no. In terms of his natural skill and ability on the ball we've definitely got a lot to be thankful to his junior coaches at QPR for, but Raheem has credited his tactical understanding and incredible game intelligence for a kid his age to the years spent in our academy with Rodolfo Borrell, Pep Segura (former La Masia directors) and later with Rodgers. He was still very raw and had a hell of a lot of developing to do by the time he came to us at the age of 14/15. Without that coaching he could have easily become just another pacey headless English winger. A product of both academies in equal measure.

We bought him when he was 15 though, we have done an awful lot of development to get him to where he is today.

When talking about youth prospects and developing them, i never know what the cut off is to be able to claim you developed him.

The fact that you had to pay about £500K for him with that rising with appearances (probably met already) in my eyes makes him a transfer (a very very good one at that!) rather than a youth product

Daily Mail spouting some waffle about Arsenal thinking they can get Hammers' Reid for 4 mill ... That sounds like underpricing to me so I laughed.

Can they buy Lovren off us instead for 10m?

Isnt he out of contract in 6 months?

I like how he hasn't responded to any of our posts
There are multiple reasons for that.

A) Can't admit he is wrong
B) Can't face the fact he has been proven wrong with his own words
C) Can't understand his own points (no matter how terrible they may be)
D) Fails to grasp what others are saying
E) Tunnel vision

Only 6 months left on his contract, however Allardyce came out and said he won't sell him unless it's for 20 mil, which I doubt anyone will pay. Sounds like he is Arsenal bound though.

Lose him for free or get 6mil for him.......

He could just buy the remainder of his contract out anyway. All this huff amd puff crap is annoying and stupid.

schalke head honcho has told bild they're in negotiations to sign nastasic.

we really have to start learning how to flog our cast offs for 50 mil instead of 5.

shaqiri apparently close to juve on loan

lavezzi has apparently skipped psg training and asked to be sold

cavani has not traveled on their training camp either

I think they are willing to lose him for free as they believe they can qualify for Europe with him playing for them. So unless a fair bit of money is offered, I'd say 10 mil+, then I don't see him leaving until the end of his contract. I hope he moves to us or Arsenal personally, just not Man U or Everton.

I thought AC Milan were getting rid of Torres

The answer is yes, AC Milan have gotten rid of Torres. They just found sending him to Atletico easier then a stoush with Chelsea over loan terms.

This is what I actually said:

Good luck with that. A cursory glance at AC Milan's history of "loan to buy" deals shows they always insert countless amounts of get out clauses in these sorts of deals. When they loaned Aquilani they inserted a clause which said they are obliged to purchase him if he played 25 games in Serie A for a set price. They ended up playing him for 23 games, stopped playing him and then played hardball over the transfer fee, eventually walking away altogether.

If AC Milan are attempting to terminate Torres' loan it is almost certain they have a clause which allows them to do so. They are experts on the matter. And even Jose's comments suggest this with him saying "He's on loan but our player" and also saying there isn't room for him in the squad if he comes back.

Looks like you're stuck with him again unless you can offload him. Enjoy.

Once again you've proven to be the perennial bullshit artist. My post clearly states that Chelsea were going to be lumbered with him unless they could get rid elsewhere. Which they did indirectly via Ateltico. You are absolutely wrong in saying that I said that Torres going back to Chelsea was a certainty. Will you admit it? I doubt it. You've once again spectacularly failed and your apparent obsession with everything I post is disturbing and suggest you don't have much of a life outside this forum.

EDIT: Just seen you've posted 25,000 times since 2011 so it appears not. Apolgies if you were hanging around waiting for my response and had nothing better to do but I do have a life outside this forum.

It's always ironic when someone criticises someone else for being on a forum.

Nice try though champ, better luck next time :)

No luck needed here buddy. And for the record i'm not going to engage your little personal obsession anymore for the benefit of this forum. If you want to continue your personal crusade / obsession against me feel free to PM me.

Shame if Nasty goes, but not really getting a look in for us. And hasnt shown that he can cope with the Pellegrini style of play. At the right club I think he can be a very good defender. Surprised Chelsea arent in for him at that price.

Don't think we really need another young CB. Plenty of young talent for that position as is: Zouma obviously, then there's Kalas, Omeruo, Christensen.
