he doesnt seem to have a position, he's continually had setbacks, and i dont think he's been developed anywhere near as well as he could've been, especially by someone who's meant to be brilliant at helping kids develop.

of course he's just still a kid, and none of the stuff that i listed is his fault, but he seems to have struggled with being pushed into the deep end so quickly. he's already got 20 england caps by the age of 21.

like jatz said, he's by no means a bad player, he'll still likely to become a very good player, but right now, due to stuff that's really been out of control, he's struggled.

I said all supporters overrate their own. I ain't bovered. We have a very successful youth academy that continues to produce 1st team players whether u rate them or not.

Once again you are confusing the meaning of over-hyped.

It doesnt mean they arent good or won't be good. It doesnt mean that I don't rate them.

You are defending your club against a non existent attack.

I havent said anything about your academy, I don't even consider Januzaj a real product of your academy (signed at 16/17, senior debut not long after).

That's just utter bullshit, maybe not in the media but United fans always knew he was going to be something special.

The media plays a part in the over hyping of players, so you can't really say its bullshit when you've basically just agreed that the media didnt hype Pogba as much.

The supporters didnt either, thats pretty obvious to me living over here. Morrison got more wraps than Pogba.

And your coaching staff definitely didnt over-hype Pogba. Which was a shame for you.

Im just saying I remember when he broke through and all United fans fapped and said he was better than Sterling etc. He's a good kid, just not ready. Not on the same level as Sterling.
That's a fair call Jod. Januzaj was excellent for the 1st half of last season but tailed off. Imo, the difference is that Sterling is a smarter player whereas Adnan is still working on his stepovers! Adnan will get there but Raheem is clearly ahead of the curve. I wasnt around last season so can't comment on the fapping haha

You're just upset City have no good young players.

*grabs popcorn*

We'll let ours walk the walk, not talk the talk.

Got some interesting ones at our academy though atm.

Who needs good young players when you have endless cash?

When you spend £100m you should be challenging for the title, right?

Fwiw, gross transfer spend over the past three seasons.

Man City - £208m
Liverpool - £215m

Who needs good young players when you have endless cash and don't waste it all on shit might be a better mantra.

Inb4 net spend ;)

God Moomba is going to use Scouse maths soon.

Is that the Carroll, Henderson and Downing only cost £20m because of Torres one?
