Such a frustrating thread to read.
For some reason I keep clicking on it. Reading about transfer rumours is ridiculous enough.
It gets worse though, it's just you lot arguing with eachother about how much money each team spends.
Give it a rest would yas.

I'm almost certain that's because he's going out on loan to a championship club that will play him. The name of the club has slipped my mind though.Leicester are canceling Nick Powells loan deal.
City have one of the best youth programs in Europe.
Torres gone permanently on the 5th of Jan, oh joy.
Mandzukic to Man City is on the cards now. Atletico to lose Mandzukic and gain Torres, good times
Thats why I said that the only thing stopping us from that was kids breaking through at senior level. In it's current form - best facilities? Yes. Best youth programs? I'll wait until I see some results before making a call like that.
Moomba you've long argued that the gap between dominating at youth level and translating that dominance into the production of players who can have an impact in a top league is much bigger than many people realise.
From what I've seen of this group of U18s you've got coming through, you have several technically gifted players who pass the ball extremely well, but none of them have really stood out and given me the impression that they're a million miles above that level.
No payout, but we have to wear £18M on the books FFP wise, but that's it.Hell of an outcome for Chelsea.
Wonder what the arrangement is with his wages though. Doesn't seem likes its Chelsea's problem anymore unless there was some form of payout.
Its silly really, if you were under FFP pressure you would have been better off keeping him and loaning him out than just getting rid permanently. No payout, but we have to wear £18M on the books FFP wise, but that's it.
I presume Powell is still a pisshead?
He was quite overhyped for a bit too. The next Scholes they said.
Who said?
Never heard anyone compare him to being the next Scholes.
We hope Powell fills Paul Scholes' boots. For an 18-year-old boy it has been a terrific day.

Free I'm pretty sure.Any Idea on what the Torres fee will be?
Unfortunately, alcohol and substance abuse can affect the best of them. Powell had huge upside when united signed him. Had an excellent first half of the season on loan at Wigan and then started hitting the drink. Sadly, i don't think he takes his career too seriously. All the top clubs were after him and he wasn't overhyped.
