Not sure what Carra is smoking.

The 12 million is just English tax. So if you decide he is worth 30 million. Then you add 12. Then you buy him for 42.

Do you follow/look at Carragher's Twitter often? He knows what he's doing. Regular taker of the piss.

Oldham by all accounts.

Not sure whats to be gained by not allowing him to work after his sentence.
Their sponsors wouldn't be happy. That was the problem he had when he tried to rejoin Sheffield United.

Something like 50% of NBA players are broke within 5 years of retiring. Wouldn't surprise me if it's a similar number for the EPL.

Amazes me how stupid some people can be with money. Not sure how many people read the thing about Bogut but every high paid athlete should follow his lead, nothing fancy and only buys with savings never credit I believe. Property and I believe some classic cars completely owned so is always going to be safe.

I feel sorry for some that come from poor backgrounds and hook up family and friends and often get sucked into dumb investments.

highly rated brazilian cb doria, who was unwanted by bielsa at marseille, is apparently available for 9 million euros.

surely someone in europe will offer the kid a lifeline. sao paulo have already had an offer turned down

Not sure what is more deluded that tweet or the reports of United signing Verane for 20 mill.

And that Carragher tweet is pretty clearly a pisstake to wind up the Bitters I would've thought!

Bingo ;)

Yep, some people are just stupid. Im really good with money, pity I dont have much but with what I have, im very careful with, that wouldnt change if I suddenly had millions.

James Pearce of the Liverpool Echo and French paper L'Equipe are reporting that Divock Origi will leave Lille and join his parent club Liverpool this month instead of at the end of the season. £3m the rumoured fee to terminate his loan. With Sturridge's seemingly neverending injury troubles I think that's the sensible thing to do.

I can almost guarantee you we aren't bidding for him, no way we spend this window.
Yeah I dont see us doing anything in this window.

Would love us to sign Odegaard and just convince him that he is the next Steven Gerrard.

Even though secretly we know there will never be another Stevie G.

Yeah I guess to be fair some athletes are no different than normal people except their job will finish a lot earlier. I know even people at my work who would be on similar or less have a bigger house, fancier car etc. than I do so they would have to be massively in debt and while I have a safe job I still don't see why you would bother with the risk.

Liverpool seem to be in the business of wasting money these days. That's not great business.

Yep, im 34 and still have no credit cards. Im in no debt whatsoever. I know friends who are much younger than me that went and bought a 25,000 dollar car just cos they wanted it. It immediately decreases in value, I saved for like 2 months and bought a nice car for 1,800.

I get to the same place he does in the same time. He is in 25k debt. Im debt free. Some people are just stupid.

I don't buy into this Mourinho favourite bullshit that goes around. Willian might survive this transfer period but I guarantee you he will be nothing more than a squad player come the European summer.

Fair enough. I just can't see him being sold anytime in the future.

How's he been going?
