Just not sure what leicester get out of that arrangement. I don't think chelsea can front any of the cash formthe transfer or wages as that woukd be illegal. They get the guarantee maybe of a sale price if it doesnt work out at Leicester, but they lose the chance of a player, or bigger profit if it's a success.

Can't see why leicester wouldnt just buy him themselves with no involvement from chelsea.
They get a striker that's banging in the goals, at a time they're fighting to stay up.

It's that simple. Leicester scratch Chelsea's back, Chelsea does the same.

But they are paying for the player. How is Chelsea scratching Leicesters back?

If Chelsea are funding or part funding the transfer it's illegal. If Chelsea are funding or part funding wages it's illegal.

Leicester could buy the player and insert a release clause that anyone could take up to encourage him to come, just don't see why chelsea would be involved.

They are effectively being 'loaned' the player by Chelsea, completely legally. When he goes to Chelsea from Leicester, you can bet the sale value will be inflated above what it should be. Not much, just enough for Chelsea to say "thanks, you did the right thing, so will we, let's do business again some time".

I guess because the player really wants to end up at Chelsea for some reason. He's happy to go their for 6 months as long as he ends up at the Bridge in the summer.

I think this is it. Kramaric wants to be at Chelsea and wants a guarantee that for 2015/16 he's a Chelsea player.

Then I hope he just signs for Chelsea. I don't want a player on the books that wants to be elsewhere.

Amazing that this is all happening because you won't meet the 9mil we bid for him. Who knew you lot were tight asses.

Except that this is not the case at all, lmao.

Chelsea want to sign him and loan him to Leicester. Kramaric is okay with this as long as he's at Chelsea next season. Chelsea are unable to loan directly to an opponent after purchasing him in the same window. So, Leicester buy him now and in summer Chelsea buy him for what Leicester paid + extras.
