Bale's relationship with the Real Madrid fans is crazy. It makes no sense.

In his time there he's scored an incredible solo goal to win the copa del rey final against their biggest rival, an extra time winner against their local rival in a champions league final, and a brace which included one of the greatest goals of all-time in another champions league final. At any other club they would literally build a statue for you.

Despite all their success I think it would be horrible supporting that club. Never satisfied.

Maybe the club thinks its better placed now to handle it rather than in 12 months time. We are kind of lucky with 4 or 5 top quality loanee kids/older loanees who've had good seasons elsewhere returning to the club.

You definitely have some top quality young players coming through. I just expected Roman to load up this summer and then ride out the transfer ban especially if Hazard moves on.

Hazards replacement is already at Chelsea. We'll be doing all we can to get CHO to extend so him getting Edens LW spot(and apparently his number too) is a great start.

Im more than happy to use the academy rather than just throw money at the position. We arent winning the league without City style expenditure anyway, so play the WC youf we have coming through.

Depends what we’re looking at in this window. If it’s nothing exciting and it’s 1-2 players then no point delaying, we’ll just have to manage with what we have. Sounds like we’re pretty happy, I definitely will be, just recalling some of the loan army and battling it out with them for a season (and hopefully longer). Would have been handy to grab a top striker and left back though. And maybe another winger now that Callum’s gone down.

Has to be Madrid you’d think. City is just another PSG.. but when Madrid come calling you answer. On another note, not that we’d ever be in the hunt anyway, but how nice is it to have a transfer ban the year that one of the hottest young forwards is potentially on the market. Can’t even throw our hat in the ring..
