Wowsers a lot of money for him. But hey the CF market is a desert.

Be a while before we know if it good or bad.

I think the market in general has just exploded for all positions. But yeah, we will need to wait and see about this transfer.

9 goals in 32 for Hojlund last year.

Is he going to be ready straight away, or more one for the longer term?

Bit of both really. The market isn’t great for a striker and we’ve desperately needed one, all we have is Martial who’s never fit.

Only 20yrs old hope he does well.

Both, we'll be hoping he hits the ground running and plays for 10 years. And frankly if he does the fee becomes irrelevant. Probably 10 to 15m more than we should have paid though.

United are not acting like a Glazer owned club at the moment.

He hasn't set the world on fire but he's definitely in our best XI and will get better as he continues to settle in to the prem. Way too early to say that didn't work out.

Sure just mean it's not as if ETH has a proven track record with big fees. Antony might come good, he might continue to flatter to deceive. Sancho another but that was pre-ETH.

Antony could have been bought for 20-30 million less if we hadnt dicked around most of the last transfer window trying to get him for 5 million less, and then got desperate at the end of the window after Ajax had sold almost everyone else and didnt need the money. So we had to pay a stupid amount. Not really ETHs fault that the people running the transfers were incompetent.

Don't disagree that ETH doesn't choose the cost, just responding to Bojan saying he's backing ETH on the signing paying off. Antony hasn't to date.
