that arshavin character wants to play for us by the way.. someone else sign him please before we spend more money.. i haven't got caught up in this arshavin fever.. can you blame me? i mean, who has a name that is basically "arse-shaving".. seriously though is he that good? i haven't seen enough of him but what i saw was pretty decent but not as good as everyone else is making it out to be

Well hes exactly the same as Hleb except older more injury prone but slightly better. The Barca style will suit him to a tee. Personally I cant see Barcelona being interested in him.

He could slide in anywhere in the 3 from what I've seen of him (although suited more to the middle and right). It's interchangable too, which is a bonus.

Btw Bourky, the sports minister of Russia said it was Arshavin's dream and said they'd have to improve on his current Zenit deal. However... I do believe he is trying to push Arshavin there so that Russian sport is seen more highly and he is then thought of as being a wonderful manager of the portfolio.

Depends on the formation. He's perfectly capable of playing in any of the 3 behind a lone striker.

He's got many qualities that make him so versatile (and effective in all attacking positions).

I can't stand Hleb. Never seen someone so afriad to shoot the ____ing thing. I'd take Arshavin over him.

Nasri is talented but relatively unproven. Arshavin for me at this stage.

Gerrard won't play on the right, so Arshavin would play there and do well.

Lampard and Ronaldo are leaving.

Still debatable in which Position Rooney will play. He's been playing as a lone striker most of the time. So at present it's not a valid comparison, unless United buy a Berbatov/RSC etc.

Tevez is a gun. Although they haven't bought him yet. One would assume they will when the gayboy nicks off. Assuming United do the right thing and buy a centre-forward, then Arshavin probably isn't needed.

He would cruise into the Liverpool and Arsenal teams blindfolded. Probably Chelsea's as well. They did play that shithouse Malouda a fair bit. Oh and there is one certain Russian gazillionmilliontrillionbillionaire that would want the guy at Chelsea no matter the cost.

A player with decent pace, great awareness, good touch, a good dribbler, he can obviously cross well and his passing is absolutely sublime, as are the timing of his runs. Set pieces aren't bad either, but there's no need for him to take many with Jerk-off and Kolodin smashing them in.

He's a player with excellent ability.

We all know you're trying to justify why he should move to Everton. But lets be honest, that ship sailed a long time ago, if it was ever sailing at all (which it probably wasn't)
