IMO a fit and firing Varcoe getting 25 touches will do a lot for us in the Finals along with the rest of the boys reaching their potential. As for the worship mantra I was for him having a run in the 2's to find form. However, unlike yourself, I am glad he found form and hope he can continue and be consistent as he makes a big difference to the Team when he is on.Abit over the top,'if we are to be a threat in the finals', carn't believe how narrow minded and one eyed you'd have to be to make that comment.
You should apologise to the rest of the team for talking such drivel!
He's been practically nowhere all season until last week, now he's our great hope for the flag????
20 or more others have been more consistent and contributing than him in 2011, and you come out with this Varcoe worship mantra crap.
You're a laugh mate!

Oh, I've never heard of it before. But it seems like a few people on this forum from WA have seen Trav there, so at least that much must be true.
Zomg troll banz!!!
What would Selwood and Varcoe be doing in Perth when we have a game in Melbourne this weekend?
Travis is actually staying at my place. Just chilling on my couch playing LA Noire at the mo.
Say hi Trav
Hey Hoffy. How's things?
Selwood is spending some time with his bro's to refresh mid season. Would be nice if they could talk him into staying full time![]()
He's on a secret mission for the club - late next week Scott and Adam are going to have mysterious accidents,it might be an injury or food poisoning![]()

A fit and firing Varcoe never gets 25 possessions, last weeks 24 was his world record, there you go pumping up his tyres all over again.
Be honest with your assumptions, that's all I'm asking.
That way you'll avoid exaggerations like the above.
Now their talking about him resting and coming back to face the Eagles in Perth, I'm thinking I might write that one off as our first loss, thought he needed to prove his form a little more than that!!!!
Unlike others do.

Pot/kettle anyone?
Geelong midfielder Travis Varcoe has been sent home to Perth and will miss Saturday's clash with Essendon.
Pot/kettle anyone?
Glad to here you're so relieved Dave, after half a doz dud weeks, so would I if I was continually singing his praises like you!
Remember, young Bundy got 26 and Mackie 28 possessions, so I wouldn't be skitting to much if I was you, come W C Eagles game I'll be counting, make no mistake about that!
You and that Foressman just don't understand, I hope the guy succeeds if he's selected, but if he goes missing in the tough ones, he's just a down hill skier and best left out.
I reckon he should be glad he's at Geelong, with the patience afforded him.
Let's hope he plays as well against the Eagles as he did against the Crows. I certainly hope you are the same as surely we all want the Team to succeed and each player do their bit. I'd hate to think you were counting his possessions and hoping he'll come up short?
How typical.. Why try and defend a guy who is clearly not performing and needs a run the the 2's...
