IMO a fit and firing Varcoe getting 25 touches will do a lot for us in the Finals along with the rest of the boys reaching their potential. As for the worship mantra I was for him having a run in the 2's to find form. However, unlike yourself, I am glad he found form and hope he can continue and be consistent as he makes a big difference to the Team when he is on.

Varcoe and Selwood are definitely over here. Varcoe training with souths which Chris Scott set up through his docker contacts.
Definitely odd but legit.
Selwood is spending some time with his bro's to refresh mid season. Would be nice if they could talk him into staying full time

I don't think there's too much doubt about him being there which would make it highly unlikely he'll been in the starting 22 this weekend you'd think.
The website is o.k and does come up with some useful info from time-to-time. Some journos (Wilson in particular) have it in the gun cos some player managers have some input and the claim is made they use it to promote their players. Haven't noticed it myself.

He's on a secret mission for the club - late next week Scott and Adam are going to have mysterious accidents,it might be an injury or food poisoning

A fit and firing Varcoe never gets 25 possessions, last weeks 24 was his world record, there you go pumping up his tyres all over again.
Be honest with your assumptions, that's all I'm asking.
That way you'll avoid exaggerations like the above.
Now their talking about him resting and coming back to face the Eagles in Perth, I'm thinking I might write that one off as our first loss, thought he needed to prove his form a little more than that!!!!

I don't he's ever going to be a contested player so I think it'd be best for everyone if we stopped trying to make him one, play him in the role we've used Wojo and Mackie at times in this season like a real wingman, i hate the term but he is a "Game Breaker" with his pace we should try and get the ball in his hands more not make him get his own ball more.

Remember, young Bundy got 26 and Mackie 28 possessions, so I wouldn't be skitting to much if I was you, come W C Eagles game I'll be counting, make no mistake about that!
You and that Foressman just don't understand, I hope the guy succeeds if he's selected, but if he goes missing in the tough ones, he's just a down hill skier and best left out.
I reckon he should be glad he's at Geelong, with the patience afforded him.

As long as he performs, and not this 6 possessions stuff and shirking, there would never be an issue with me.
Thing is its easy to hold your place when the team hasn't lost a match, don't think he would have lasted if they'd lost a few.
Anyhow, will be interesting to see how he fares against tougher opposition on their turf on the weekend.

I'm assuming you didn't watch Geelongs game last week because J Hunt wasn't playing,so you never saw Varcoe play.Yes he was out of form for a month leading up to last week but last week he was very good and found some form.
Taking the fricking blinkers off once in awhile and you'll see better.
