Two of mine down - The Kingdom Is Within You and Passing Through. Really disappointed for Sly Withers. Only just missed out. I saw so many fans inconsistently voting for random tracks from the album instead of banding together for Passing Through. It screwed them over in the end.

yeah a lot of votes for Radio which was a very average track imo and has definitely taken votes off it, much like Sort it Out by Beddy Rays taking votes off Milk
 
Lost 4 of my votes today Cracker Island, Sacrifice, I Don't Need To Hide & My Love and another 3 that I think have missed out completely.
Hoping for the remaining 3 to do ok tomorrow (Get Inspired, I Don't Wanna Do Nothing Forever & Girl Sports).

Predicted 46 of today's 100 into my 101-200 positions, plus 23 of my top 100 which came in today. Amazingly got 2 of today's prediction exactly correct. My Love at #141 & Catch My Disease at #132.

I’ve managed to pick one perfectly so far, that being the Running Up That Hill LAV by The Wombats at 103. 41 of my predicted 101-200 played, plus 22 from my predicted 100, but I’d like to think I have a decent idea of a lot of the songs that will be replacing them now.

Chucked 22 songs that didn’t play from my 101-200 onto the end of my existing 100 as a new prediction. The last few were major dartboard throws, I think it’s more likely songs that I didn’t have in my 200 for a handful of those spots. Meg Mac is a treasure, as is Gordi. Both put out great tunes this year, worthy of the top 100. Happier When You’re Gone is also a ripper.

Yep, agreed. I judge LAVs by a much higher standard than any other songs cos I don't love it when they take over the countdown. This was a worthy entrant though.

Seems to be an enormous recency bias this year. I don't know if that happens every year, but as I mentioned previously I spent the first 6 months of this year on the road listening to the radio, and I'm blown away by the relatively small percentage of songs so far that I know really well from the road trip.

Spacey Jane, Lime Cordiale and Ocean Alley really is the holy trinity of nothing bands who are almost completely interchangeable. They remind me of dairy milk, not completely terrible or offensive, but it's just so basic.

I liked the Hoods in the 00s, but they've been coasting for years.
