If climate is crucial to you, vote green.

I like Jason Ball and follow him on social, but seeing him spruik his party’s climate change credentials when they’re staunchly against nuclear really boiled my piss.

It’s like wanting to do something about bushfires but being anti-fire truck.

“We pledge to put them out using 100% rain”

- “What happens if it doesn’t rain?”

“...”

I love Feel and Dingle, even though they vote for idiots. Feel even likes Trump ffs, even though he claims to be environmentally conscious. Work that one out.

Jumbo can get ****ed though, he needs to die in a fire.

You don’t know who I voted for.

I think the parallel is the losing sides in the US and Australian elections just had such awful representatives and ran bad campaigns. You could say in both cases that the winner had a huge leg up because the alternative was just so unlikable. Do better Democrats and Labor.

I completely agree but still place absolute accountability on those who voted for the demagogue dunce and the happy clapping stooge respectively. Especially the former since there's no compulsory voting there. The losing party sucking is not and never will be an excuse.

Gee, even knowing I disagree with your political views I sincerely hope that hope that you have a long, happy and prosperous life!

Do you know what is more disappointing than realising that most Australians are fearful, selfish, racist, homophobic, stupid gits is that some of them are also Port supporters. There is no fu**ing hope for the world.

Sounds to me like more people around these parts have more things in common with Arthur Dunger than they'd have the clarity to admit.

We all know you voted for Steve Dickson and you would have gone to another polling booth and voted twice if he had done a line off her rack.

Wait, whose rack?

I do love the way some of the more left leaning people on here and in general believe that anybody that didn't vote Labor is an evil self serving moron. Could be part of the problem.....

If you've got any selfless, altruistic reasons why somebody would vote Liberal I'd be interested to hear them.

I asked the same thing an hour and a half ago and still crickets...

It won't happen because she isn't supported by mainstream media. CNN and co. hate Trump but not enough to back someone like her.

Speaking of awful candidates, how the flip did Abbott ever get elected?

I'm just questioning those who think they are doing their bit to stamp out racism while endorsing a ruling party that continues to sweep a lot of issues under the carpet, or at least more than the other guys and girls. To them I ask, are you really doing everything you can? Everything in your power? Cause t doesn't seem like it to me.

What do you say to the indigenous candidates, members and supporters of the Libs and the Nats?

And there are many of them.

Its a different measure for Liberals.

An awful candidate for Liberals would be a slightly effeminate centre-right milquetoast like Christopher Pyne

And Hillary supporters got tricked into thinking that a warmongering neo-liberal had their best interests at heart because she said a few things they wanted to hear.

"The left" in this case backed the wrong horse. Instead of falling to their knees and screaming in the street they should back a candidate that absolutely 100% would be a good choice as leader and that person is Tulsi.

I'm not an expert on us politics but my understanding is the common person or the left in your example didn't choose Hillary any more than you or I chose scomo or shorten.

The party chooses who they put forward, or to be more precise a handful of people make the decision. Yeah?

It's the greatest gift one could give.

Rightio then. Next time you feel like complaining about those nasty lefties writing off Liberal voters as self-serving, just remember that you were asked a question that gave you a genuine opportunity to convince us otherwise and your response was 'Labor man bad'.

I did chuckle at the double-breasted chode on Sky News last night bemoaning the demise of Tony amidst ‘unprecedented personal attacks and nastiness’.

I was like, whaaaaAAAAA-

Tony was among the first of the one-note attack dogs, and fire was finally met with fire.
