I thought Hendo had at least played? The lack of time or ability of Maguire should see him banished from the England scene.

Maybe the injuries to Stones, Mings and Shaw has given Maguire a reprieve? Ben White had a bust up with the assistant Steve Holland. Dier is not playing either. So you are looking at Konsa, Burn or Coady. Or name one less CB and add another midfielder.

With Hendo and Phillips you have to ask who else should be picked? Ward-Prowse maybe. Gibbs-White?

You'd think Henderson taking a retirement package in Saudi would effectively end his England career. Not sure what the point of continuing is when he spends a season at a much lower level going into Euro 2024 at 34 years old.

Rice was very good. Maddison, Bellingham and Henderson not so much. Kane put Maddison clean through on goal but he tripped over the ball. Bellingham did very little. For the Ukraine goal Henderson was jogging to track back and lost his man. Time for Phillips to take over maybe.
