You're a 100% right mate. Just got off the phone to my brother in Victoria and told him as much. Absolute BS. Over hewre in the West you play the umpires too. Been going on far too long. Eagles only clawed our lead back thanks to dodgy decisions.

No hate, I’d suggest you visit your local optometrist though...gonna cop a lot of hate i think. but thot we got the better of the rub today.
still inconsistent af tho
The best way to validate this is watch a non Carlton game. The standard of officiating is imo at an all time low. There needed to be an improvement in particular prior opportunity but it needed to be just a small adjustment for those times a player has taken possession takes a couple of steps and is dispossessed and the umpire waves play on.
Liam Ryan was a classic example today where he took possession tried to do something was tackled and the ball dropped out. That should be reward the tackler but the umpires wave play on and the offenders team gets a goal out of it.
it happens in most games. It’s makes it unwatchable a lot of the time.
For mine that was the pivotal momentum swing moment. Not saying it cost us the game but they went bang bang right after that. This is exactly where I blew my lid tonight.

Not gonna pretend to be a blues supporter cause like most people I only support my own team but as anyone who has played a sport to a reasonable level don’t we just want to tap the other team/player on the shoulder and say “yep you were better well played..” Atm it feels like you have to pray to RNJesus that you will get the “lucky” 50/50 calls to go with your team actually being up up it on the night. Almost unwatchable tbh. Blues were up to it today. Umpiring ruined a good contest which is all you want to see as a neutral supporter. Has to be fixed or many will be disinterested sooner rather than later..For mine that was the pivotal momentum swing moment. Not saying it cost us the game but they went bang bang right after that.
Just cancelled Kayo. I’m done investing my time and money into the game until the AFL sort their sh*t out. That 3Q burst by the umps was just disgraceful.
Should be made to give his pay for today to charity absolutely blatantly swayed the game at a crucial time he would be suspended in Italy if this was a soccer matchThis guy played well today for the Weagles.

When they ask the reason at the end did you choose "other" and write "umpiring"?
Yup. Wanted to let them know their service itself was actually really good, but the standard of umpiring made the product unpalatable. I'm done with footy for the year, maybe longer. This game was a turning point for me. The game is broken and until it's fixed, I'm not wasting my energy on it.
