Good to see that Duff Beer is not an automatic walk up start. He is behind 3 others for a call up.

There must be huge pressure on a"few" in the 22.

yup but what i dont understand is how gilmore can be an emergency and not duffman, duffman is way better then gilmore.

Someone's pulling a swifty. Duffield hasn't been named in the South's team either.

Poor guy, gets elevated to seniors then droppped to reserves by his WAFL side :)

 :D

Good luck Freo fans....but just dont win:p .
Should be a close one I reckon.

Id rather we go in as underdogs and thanks to your marvellous victory last week I think we will.

Im looking for McLeod to turn on a blinder for all the Chris Groom fans:D Hasnt done a thing so far this year apart from 6 flash ars e possessions that he hasnt fluffed, turnedover, or retreived himself.

Hopefully this is the direction the crows are heading noting each round further onwards the opposition is getting closer to them and now time to beat them

It's more or less the arrogance police and you've been charged for being an arrogant twat. How do you plead?

For the record I'm not really sure exactly how the match will go. I have a cautiously optmistic feeling about it. Freo by 14 points for mine but then again Adelaide love to carve us up at times!

will no edwards makje that much of a difference? what possie does he play?

He's a midfield catalyst, which frees up McLeod to damage around the flanks to set up play. He can be very damaging however McLeod can cover his abscence. Without Edwards the Crows lose a bit of rebound power and speed from defence (due to, as I said, McLeod covering him in the Midfield and taken off the back flanks and wings) but ultimately I wouldn't change my tip if I tipped the Crows to win on the exclusion of Edwards.

I'm still quietly confident of Freo winning by 14 points but I wouldn't be suprised the least if Adelaide got up and got up well.

Equivalent of us losing Josh (or an in form) Matty Carr.

I tipped Freo because we do have a pretty good record against Adelaide over the years. The Cows losing Edwards is a pretty good omen for us.

Another good omen is that my son will be apart of the midget brigade running around on the ground at half time. Well I'm going to call it a good omen anyway, because at this stage, a few hours out from the game starting, I become very nervey, and start looking for "signs" from anywhere and everywhere!

Reckon it will be close, and yeah... going in as favourites is often the kiss of death for us. But with the exception of Ricuitto your forward line seems a bit off colour compared to last year. It will boil down to the midfields.

Correct me if I'm wrong but If Haselby and Black are named to start surely there must be one exclusion

They were both in the squad last week and played so no exclusion needed, maybe you're thinking of the week before when Black got back in after being dropped because Hase had a sore back! :)

I dare not tip us to win tonight.

I'm looking forward to see if we can turn it on and produce two good team performances consecutively. A win by a point is still 4pts.

Forecasting Dodd to continue his form and cloud Mcloeds' night. :D
