What I don't like is there doesn't seem to be a save feature or some way to choose where to start. So if you screw up once you'd have to re play all the way through to try again.
I like that it tells you the percent of people who chose which option. I find it interesting when only 9 percent of people have made the same decision that I'm drawn to
I found it pretty interesting, I didn't always go the way of the masses, and the game is made to be replayed so I'll pick different choices the next time around. If you stuff up a QTE or keep still, or even a choice, you can apparently immediately quit application via the XMB.
With the % display option, I'm glad I only read about that at the end. It isn't on by default. It MAY have swayed my choices if it was on, then I'd be blaming the masses if the choice was wrong. Not sure I'll turn it on til later play throughs.
Some trophies are kill or save based. Might start again where I lost my first and save everyone.I found it pretty interesting, I didn't always go the way of the masses, and the game is made to be replayed so I'll pick different choices the next time around.
Once you finish it once you can jump to a chapter to get the collectibles and different trophies, but doesn't really help for keeping everyone alive.

Finished it on the weekend, and still think it's a great game, but knowing that overall 'killer story' is BS once the supernatural stuff kicks in, killed my need to replay straight away and for the scares too. And having read previous posts, the decisions made earlier don't seem to have a logical connection. So when the majority of deaths for me were a result of Wendigos with a rush at the end. Took away some of the gloss on the game for me.
Also for stuff like climbing walls where you need to press X, O, Square etc, can you actually get killed by not pressing them?
FWIW
Matt impaled on a hook by a Wendigo.
Got Ashley killed by opening locked cellar door by a Wendigo.
Jessica by a Wendigo. (think because of the cellar door)
Josh in the water by a Wendigo (again think because of the cellar door)
Sam because I didn't keep still by a Wendigo
Obviously saved Emily, Chris and Mike.
Still more impact by decisions than Mass Effect 3 ending
100 % agree with this.I feel exactly the same way about the game as you do as well
the wendigo stuff ruins it and makes the whole butterfly effect stuff up to that point seem......pointless
excellent concept , great game - story a bit meh... if they can build on this concept with a better story they will have another winner
i also felt that once the wendigos came i didn't have the same desire to play and finish the game..I could barely put it down before that point
still 8/10
Agree, again. Turned to crap after that.the josh twist was brilliant , i had a slight inkling but when it was revealed it was a great moment in the game.... it just branched off in a very very poor direction from there.
Would have been better if it was just a real human killer psycho

Yeah it ruined it for me. Not even gonna bother with a second play through because of that. Was watching a lets play of this. Ifthe wendigo crap didn't happen I would have bought this game tomorrow, as it is I'm not going to now.
Yes.Ok, I haven't played the game before but just have a question. I'l use tags just in case people are super spoiler sensitive.
Is it like Heavy Rain where you can get different stories due to different choices? Is it as interractive as heavy rain is? Cheers
I think so. Especially at $74.Is this game 100% worth getting?
