Not as silly as it sounds. A few weeks ago my son put him as capt. & he got 151pts.

In fact I just checked his team & he picked him as capt. this week as well

Some idiot in my team had aker last week and i laughed in his face at the sight of it!

I was then at least 300 points up with the final match i thought i had won easily until i checked in the morning to lose by 5 points!

Maybe weird captains are the way to go? Or maybe i should stick with my 150+ Cox skipper

I think it depends in the possie your in....

If you are close to the top of the overall rankings, you don't want to risk a player who may score huge, or very poorly (I'm looking at you Shaw) You may want to stick to a true gun who will get you 100 points minimum, no worries....

If you are in need of big points quick (to make finals in your private league) and if you lose, you are out, why not go unusual and see how you go. Just make sure its calcualted to a certain degree......Nothing wrong with thinking outside the box

I usually always go with Coxy as captain. The big fella has never let me down yet!

Salopek as (C) is a smart choice. If Freo's best tagger in Crowley goes to Burgoyne then Salopek should score over 100 comfortably.

lol i remember a week where i traded someone out onto my bench because they weren't played that week then forgot to change my captain who i had switched out for palmer on my bench kinda was okay i guess palmer ended up scoring 100 or so

Why the hell would you pick Palmer as captain? Makes absolutely no sense to me.

He gave it to Palmer temporarily while subbing his injured captain off. Then forgot to change back. Easy mistake to make.
