Haha, didn't even make it that far. Just pleased that a new signing is imminent.

Glad to hear Mustafi is finally going to happen, just about 2 weeks too late. Perez looks like a useful alternative to Giroud and is coming off an excellent season in Spain, not exactly an inspired signing but could turn out to be a very good one.

The Reddit Gunners page have been talking about the "madness" for a month now, the mooted player that we probably don't need but is an extravagance. Maybe there actually is a chance at a new winger as well. Could we even handle that after the last month of bullshit?

Fairly legitimate. AFCAMDEN (surprisingly reliable) and Ornstein (obviously reliable) have both alluded to it on twitter.

A couple of weeks back, AFCAMDEN said that the media weren't yet aware of the potential transfer. IMO it's almost certainly Griezmann - a player we've only been linked to in the past week or so. From what I can tell, the fee is not the problem (yeah, it seriously isn't), but the issue seems to surround the fact that Lukaku > Chelsea then Costa > Atletico would have to take place first before Atletico considered releasing Griezmann (Squawka alluded to this in a recent article).

It could be someone else (James? Reus? Who knows), but it seems Wenger was seriously in for Griezmann this whole summer and Everton's reluctance to let Lukaku go has probably been decisive.
