Early days yes, but from what Holding has shown I'd already have him ahead of Gabriel in the queue.

Kos and Mustafi will be first choice (we haven't paid £35m for a centre half to sit him on the bench) but Holding will just about be third choice.

Gabriel hasn't been that impressive. Am tipping one of he or Mertesacker will be gone next summer.

Depending on how Chambers does at borough it could easily be both.

In regards to our squad inclusions;
Xhaka is a top signing. Will add class to the midfield
Mustafi seems like the right sort of defender we needed
I hadn't ever heard of Perez before we signed him so I'm not sure about him just yet. I still feel we needed to snag a forward of exceptional quality.

Here's hoping this season isn't totally derailed by injuries like every season for the last decade...

I reakon our playing style needs a revamp too. Patient football is great but we still try to walk it in!

Yes completely agree. But I wonder whether we'd see him up front so early - Giroud hasn't been used that much so far and has had a decent break.
