The competition really provided a springboard for Saka, ESR and so on a few seasons ago to accelerate their development. Plenty of minutes to go around there.
Im not worried about the squad size, more the money the club is willing to spend in the rest of this window.
Wow. Keen to watch the full match. The extended highlights seemed action packed. Of course Leno was always going to put on a master class haha.
Had a feeling Mitrovic would score but not like that. The scenes when Gabriel atoned for error, mayhem. The atmosphere there at the moment seems fantastic.

I thought that game was frustrating as ****! Then Gabriel letting mitro steal the ball and goal I was pissed off... Odegaard with the quick equaliser then Gabriel going from zero to hero! With the winner!

Only watched the mini this morning. Looked like we deserved to win although both teams had chances to score another goal or 2.
Need to win the Villa game. When the fixture came out it looked like we could be 5-0 but to actually do it would be impressive. Have an extra days break on them and then an extra day on United. Need to keep the wins going

Made some good saves but was at fault for our winning goal also with a poor mistake, not sure I'd call it a masterclass.
We really missed Partey, it's a savage downgrade to Elneny. Missed Zinchenko also.
Glad we found a way to win after Gabriel gifted them that goal. Odegaard was awesome, Saliba very strong again.

Thigh tightness.
Welcome win. Fulham were tough opposition, but pleasingly, it was the first game where our squad depth was tested and we scraped through. Tierney had an okay game, but isn't as versatile as Zinchenko and Elneny is a known quantity. Funnily enough, Partey being injured would have given Zinchenko an opportunity in midfield. Just unfortunate that they were the two to go down on Friday.
Just need the forwards to shoot the bloody ball on goal. Could've been 2 or 3 up at half time. And Martinelli had an off day with his crosses. Glad he nailed the one that got us the winner.

Yes fair enough. He’s always been an excellent shot stopper, couldn’t really fault him for that during his time at Arsenal. Did struggle with his distribution at times and prone to fumble crosses. He should’ve gobbled that one up, glad Gabriel was there to pounce.
It seems we were targeting that however the crossing/corners etc (from Martinelli in particular) wasn't quite up to scratch. It always frustrates me when I see us continue to shoot straight at the keeper.
Partey’s fitness is the smokey, it sounded like a minor niggle however the schedule is going to be stacked soon (especially October) so need to manage that closely. Elneny you always know what you’re getting, solid and reliable however not at the same level required.
Loved Saliba’s reaction to the winner, and his song dominated the post match scenes. Hope we’re able to extend him, Saka and Martinelli in the coming months. It clearly is being worked on in the background and it’s amazing how quickly Saliba become such an integral part of the team.

Watched this morning. Fulham aren’t too bad and they stack the low level block well. We did create quite a lot of opportunities still but we just weren’t clinical enough to punish.
Not sure what Gabriel was doing but excellent mentality to keep pushing through that and get the winner.
Nketiah looked great coming on but his finishing just needed to be better.
Love the energy at the emirates at the moment. Saliba’s celebration for the winner was amazing!

For all the talk about whites price he looks very solid in the hybrid cb / rb spot

Fair play to arsenal very decent squad.
