Even though it's not up to it at this stage (or maybe ever) we can't afford to loan Lokonga, we just don't have enough midfielders ATM.

That's now 2 signings that have first been reported (By Romano/Ornstein) and then completed within 24-48 hours. Tells me all the Mudryk leaks were coming from Shakhtar.

So he's a left sided CB that can potentially cover at both LB and DM.

Quite a rise for him too, from playing in Slovakia, to a relegation dog fight in Italy, to Arsenal.

Yes it seems so - it was quite public from their perspective. From the posturing of what they beleived he was worth, to then all of the instagram stuff from Mudryk himself. There was very little from Arsenal's side, as there often tends to be. Arsenal don't even publish that injury update anymore, where they give a list of ailments/injuries and time frame for return.

So much is kept in house now. This is how Arsenal prefer to operate.

Yes am expecting a few goals in this one. I still remember Rashford’s debut where he dominated as an 18 year old. White has been excellent this season however nullifying the wingers on his side.
