Cut knee is the word for Kos.

City just look too good for us so far. Ozil has been quiet yet again but no matter how we're playing, he needs to drop deeper and start running the game. Not living up to his billing.

Wilshere/Nacho getting owned on that left by Zaba and Silva.

We've been in behind their fullbacks twice but been fvcked over by that linesman, need to keep crafting our way through. City look like they've got another couple of goals in them which is a major worry. Need Ozil, Walcott and Giroud to get involved more.

Thankfully doesn't sound like a ligament injury for Kos.

We arnt going to beat United, City, Chelsea.

We need to beat all the teams other than them to win the league. It's that simple.

Aside from Ozil's assist, his crossing, passing and corners have been quite poor.

Amazingly, despite being monstored for most of this second half, we could actually be ahead if our final ball was as clinical as we've needed.

Well, we're still on top. But....what a shit week results wise.

We talked it up as one of the biggest tests for us in many years, and we only managed one point from a possible nine. City were lethal and pounced on our mistakes, but geez some of our defending was woeful.

Mertesacker was magnificent. Monreal was taken to the cleaners.

Ozil very poor and pretty ordinary behavior after the game.

Nine day break now until Chelsea. Nine days to come of the 'same old Arsenal' doubts and discussions in the media.

I'm just going to come out and say it:

Fabregas shits on Ozil. Win or lose - he is always in the game.

**** off. Ozil is better than Fabregas. The only reason you say this is Fabregas always wanted to get on the ball, Ozil prefers to get in a position where he can make a telling influence. We'd be a lesser team if we had Fabregas and even though he is no longer with us he is still my favourite player, so certainly no bias.

The Kos injury obvious stuffed up our plans on subs but Gnabry did nothing and I thought Rosicky would of been the better selection. Bendtner when the ball got to him was actually good. A great pass to Walcott which led to a chance and then he scored a similar goal to the Jenkinson cross a few weeks ago.

It's tough because of the short recovery from Napoli, but we stood off and let them have too much time and space to play. Ramsey's pressing on Toure led to a goal but too often the team were either unwilling or unable due to tiredness to close them down and put some pressure or a tackle in. Maybe Arteta should of played?

Regardless gifting one goal is far too many and we probably gifted them 5 from mistakes. We had offside decisions go against us that could of changed the game and we still scored 3 goals (albeit the 3rd they'd fallen asleep) at whats considered a fortress ground for them. All of this when barely 50 hours ago we were in Italy playing in the champions league and when we probably played the worst we have all season.

On the plus side we've got a 9 day break to recover and freshen up before Chelsea (but we have 5 games in 13 days, finishing with Tottenham at home in the FA cup) and Poldolski will likely be avaliable and will probably at least make the bench.

Big statement made be Man City today and showed why they were probably title favourites at the start of the year. Nevertheless we are still top of the league. Another big game coming up against Chelsea which is a must win.

Sturt FC, Arsenal FC,
Sub-standard effort today.

Always playing catch up. Crap passing, rarely putting in second efforts when things went awry.

Lolo getting injured hurt us, even though he buggered up defensively which led to a City goal.

Ozil and Ramsey has off games. BFG and Theo were great. Giroud tried hard but nothing went right for him. Sagna was okay, Monreal couldn't handle the pace of the City forwards.

Overall a pretty average game from the lads. Need to put in a far better showing against Chelsea if we're to be real title contenders.

Good: Walcott, Mertesacker

Acceptable: Scezsney, Flamini, Sagna, Koscielny, Vermaelen, Bendtner

Poor: Monreal, Giroud, Ozil, Ramsey, Wilshere, Gnabry (Harsh, but didn't really make an impact when it was needed)
