Considering the alternatives are Flamini and Chambers, there is zero risk involved starting Elneny.

Sure there is. Knowing where in the zone he's supposed to be at each corner is just for starters. **** that up and let Adolf Terry goosestep in for a freebie and you'll have the crowd on you fairly quickly.

When Ox dominated that home game v United 3 years ago (before being subbed - I remember RvP's reaction to it), I thought finally. Here he is, Ox has arrived.

But he's just floated in and out of the team since.

Why isn't anyone sticking the boot into Walcott as well? Poor performance after poor performance. A goal against city and what else? He's 26 now been at the club for 10 years and has only had one season ONE SEASON were he has scored over 10 league goals.

Walcott, Ox and Flamini is too much to carry in one game. Giroud can't be relied upon to score every game and Campbell despite playing well isn't a huge goal threat yet.

Giroud has 12 league goals then Sanchez on 6.

Ramsey has 4
Walcott has 3
Campbell has 2
Ox has 0 ****ing 0
Flamini has 0
Coq has 0
Welbeck (lol) has 0
Cazorla has 0
Wilshere (lol) has 0
Arteta has 0
Rosicky has 0

Kos has 3 ****ing goals and he's a defender. Even Gabriel has a goal.

Ozil only has 3 but 16 assists.

We have an attack that is barely functioning because of players that are either woefully out of form or just simply not good enough. If Giroud or Sanchez don't score we virtually have no goals coming from anywhere else in the team.

This is one of the worse attacking teams under Wenger.

Van Persie-Arsharvin-Rosicky- Gervinho- Chamakh
Giroud-Rosicky-Poldolski-Walcott-Cazorla-Ramsey-Ozil

All of the above teams had other players weighing in with the goals.

Now we have

Giroud (fine) Cazorla (injured) Rosicky (injured) Ozil (Awesome) Sanchez (Awesome) Walcott (poor) Campbell (so-so) Ox (wtf) Arteta (doesn't score) Flamini (doesnt' score) Coq (doesn't score) Ramsey (average for the last two years) Wilshere (injured) Welbeck (Injured)

It isn't good enough.

Glad another person has realised how overrated Theo is and How overrated this Arsenal team is as an attacking force.

In any event, Flamini's job is not to create attacking play, his job is to sit in front of the back four and give them cover, retrieve the ball, and pass it to the creative player next to him. Famini only needs to be an outlet for back passes, and if Flamini is doing nothing but pass backwards then it's an indictment on the two central midfielders with him.
"
This is exactly what Flamini's role is. It's to win the ball and give it either wide or to the creative players in the middle so that they can make the forward passes. His role is also to protect the back four. He obviously can't win every ball and it involves the whole side pinching in to cover him aswell if he goes to cover them initially.

Walcott has been poor at least the last three games or so. Like Shoei said, he scored a great goal against city but has continually performed poorly. I wonder if it's because he's having a sulk at being played wide when he so desperately wants to play as a striker. The main problem though is his decision making. He's just not making the right passes or is poor positionally.

Exactly. We didn't lose in these tough two away games. We arguably should have come away with two more from Anfield but let's remember we came from a goal down twice before taking the lead. We haven't seen an Arsenal side with this kind of fight for a long time. Plus the fact that it was wet both those games meant it was always going to be a level playing field.

We are still top mid- January which no one here would have expected especially with our injury crisis. Loads of upside at the moment especially with top players returning.

I remember buying it for my brother as a present.

I remember recording it off the radio onto a cassette tape (lol). Then when I got a walkman for my birthday (with auto reverse), I then recorded it again off the radio at the exact same point on the other side of the tape.

So once it finished on one side, I simply click the auto reverse and it starts again.

True story.

The same brother had a two sided tape with Runaway Train recorded over and over and over.
